Hacking Datel Powersaves now supports Pokemon X/Y

The "Name Rater" in the Camphrier Town Pokemon Center will not change the name of any of the 3 available Diancies, nor of any pokemon which has had the "unshiny" code or the "shiny" code used on it. Datel deliberately makes them "traded" - again! Why?

None, was hoping that code to turn shiny pokes back to their normal colors would let me nickname those pokes I choose to use it on.

This is freaking awesome. My Powersaves is going to be getting here on Wednesday.

Wonder if there's ever going to be "Max Friendship" or "Max Amie Affection" codes down the road...

And also if Datel will be able to make a better shiny code that focuses on changing the Shiny Value rather than either the Trainer ID or Secret ID...

You mean modify the PID and potentially make the pokemon illegal?

I was under the impression that the Shiny Value is a separate value, similar to the ID and SID, that wasn't really connected to the PID.

But then again, maybe I don't know much.

The shiny value of trainer is derived from TID and SID.
The shiny value of Pokemon is derived from it's PID.

"Shiny Value" is a community derived value;
how shinys were calculated has always been PID with TID and SID.

Ahh... That makes sense actually.

Well, I learned something today.

So I guess the current Shiny code is as good as it could get. Without mucking up any important things at least.

Still gonna hope for a "Max Friendship" and "Max Affection" code. Those shouldn't be too hard to make.
