Can't boot without card. Please read my comments.

I am not sure how I can boot without the SD card. The blue light goes on for a second and nothing happens without the SD card. Can you explain to me how to boot without the SD card if nothing happens with the 3ds?

Thanks,
Victor
I updated my post. If you follow the guide to the very end (like you're supposed to) it covers this.

so your getting a black screen blue light? any system menu sounds? can you get anything to boot up holding start or select?
NVM on this post i made. i see he can get into god mode 9 and all that. I was thinking if it was anything like mine then it would have been a non-recoverable brick. Mine did that when i was playing a game and nothing would fix it. (black screen blue light) But by the looks of that his is fixable. Nintendo fixed mine tho.

I can't anything to work without the sd card. The blue light comes one for a second and nothing else happens.

I have access to God Mode and other stuff with the card in.

I am trying to follow insturctions and use Decrypt9. What options do I need to select on the SysNand screen?
SysNand Backup/Restore ---> Nand Resotre, or Nand Restore forced?
or CTRNAND transfer? What do I select after that? Auto CTRNAND transfer or Forced CTRNAND Transfer or Autofix?

Also, how do I select the file to transfer. I don't see any options to browse directories. Do I need to put it in root?

Sorry for asking all these questions, I just don't have any instructions.
Oh sorry! I think you need to put the CTR transfer file in a folder called files9. Sorry for leaving that out.

Hi guys!

I got the same problem. I followed JOOM's link but it didn't help. Does anyone have a clue?
I haver B9S. Also Luma and GM9 load fine while holding select/start
My DS is gonna die TT_TT

I noticed that my splashscreen is always in the background, even if i launch GofMode9. But it's almost invisible

I think I have resolved this. It just happened to me from installing a bad theme. I took the sd card out and booted up the 3ds. I selected the home icon and went to themes. I got an error that no sd card was installed so without turning off the system I inserted the sd card and changed it to one of the default themes (red if that matters). I then powered off the console and it turned right back on. I hope this helps.

they need to have a strong line up on the launch titles too. I think they should move metroid prime 4 to the next console because by now it has been quite a while and there's no release date scheduled yet

  • realtimesave @ realtimesave:
well as far as metroid prime 4 is concerned, the next system probably is similar enough to the current gen they can probably easily just slap it onto a next gen cart and call it good :P
