I am conducting a case study of transmedia storytelling in the Dead Space Universe. If you are not aware of the concept of transmedia storytelling, Henry Jenkins offers this definition on his blog,

“Transmedia storytelling represents a process where integral elements of a fiction get dispersed systematically across multiple delivery channels for the purpose of creating a unified and coordinated entertainment experience.”

If you wish to know more the full article is available here; http://www.henryjenkins.org/2007/03/transm...elling_101.html
In order to help me with compiling my case study it would be highly helpful if you could fill out this short survey, your responses will be anonymous in the paper.

Please send your replies in personal messages.

Thankyou

What was your entry point into the Dead Space universe?

Are you aware of the multiple media entries in the Dead Space franchise?

Do you feel that in order to fully experience Dead Space that it is necessary to have viewed the ancillary texts?

Because of the decentralised narrative in Dead Space, what do you consider to be the primary texts that contribute to the series canon?

Do you feel each entry in the Dead Space franchise acts to expand the narrative or is a marketing strategy. i.e Artistic Vision rather than Economic?

In seeking out Dead Space information where is your primary source of information?

Have you contributed to the Dead Space Wiki or similar projects?
