Have you tried using the command line version [or whatever it's called]?bobsd said:Ok I will give it a go and see what will happen. Thanks for your help and I will respond if it works or doesn't.bobsd said:same here it seems like every thing is right..
- I don't know if its a clean rom do i need to find another one? or is there a way you can tell?
-and I did that...patch with patch and rom with nds
and no I haven't used Xdelta_GUI before. Also I am brand new to this so I didnt really try it out on other Japanese/ other language games and I just installed Microsoft .NET Framework 4 and it is still a no go but the game works on the emulator for nds (DeSmuME-0.9.6-Win32) fine, but however its still in Japanese.
Also if it doesn't work I guess I got to learn some Japanese or try something new

QUOTE said:I look out for more though! It's gonna take some time but hopefully I'll be of some help. And btw do you want me to post the translations in the TL wiki or send them to you when I've done a bunch? I'll indicate which scripts they're from and I'll break them based on how they're shown in the text box Chinese game, as well as the original raw script. Or would you want me to do it differently. I'll probably help more with Nene's for now. I don't mind helping with Rinko later if you want. I can also finish up Manaka's scripts so that you can have 100%, 100% completion for her, if you want.
Both are just editing and TL checking in general. Edit 1 means that no one has gone through them, while Edit 2 means that they've already been gone through once.Rozenheim said:I guess I'll do the editing 1 to editing 2 part?
If no one's working on them, I'll do all of Manaka's scripts, those that are at the Edit 1 stage.
Edit 2 is basically checking for English errors right? Like grammatical errors, or missing words, etc?
jjjewel said:If possible, please try working on Edit 1 first. If you see the "Edit by (name)" on the file, that means somebody has already checked it, you can skip to other files (or you can re-check the file if you want to.)
You can directly edit the Edit 1 files and save the changes. (Some of the files listed as Edit 1 are actually checked and should be at Edit 2 status, but I haven't updated them yet.)
For Edit 2, most of them are now read-only, which means if you want to change something, you'll have to list the file names and the change you want me to edit and I'll edit them for you. You can't directly change them by yourself.
Thank you very much. Please feel free to let me know if you have any questions.

By the way, for anyone test-playing the game, please also help checking if the translation matches the event pictures. Because Japanese nouns don't have singular or plural form, sometimes we mistranslated singular nouns for plural, and vice versa. (Ex. In one event, I translated that Rinko is playing with "a cat" when the event picture shows that there are actually a few cats, etc.)
