Are you sure isn't on the photoclub? i beat the Electric Trial already and no crashes so far, EXCEPT WHEN

  • Photoclub
  • When taking care of pokémon (And actually happens with any emulator version)
  • When a skarmory from a tree went to me and crashed Citra

I already pass the photo club with PkHex

good FPS if choose "Native" but if settings choose "2x Native" FPS not good, anyway like builds

:wtf: I though't that was disabled by texcache-rebase , Must have change some think in merged branch.

Higher "Native" will go by the power of the PC are other, The higher resolutions will slow it down, the better the PC/Mac processor will handel higher resolutions at faster speed, then slower.

drhojan your latest build runs fast but something is wrong with the frames and if u framelimit games u can notice its skipping frames or something it's not smoth. Thanks for the builds
(tested pokemon omega ruby moon and bravely default)actually on pokemon ruby menu 60 its 100% speed on the map 25 is 100% speed in battle sometimes is 25 sometimes is even 10 when u use some atacks ,im telling you something is wrong becouse we have speed at expense of smoothness, tested on canary and it's totally smoth but slower of course

he changed the 100% speed from 30FPS to 20FPS, so is not that smooth but the games run at full speed at 20 fps (and the sound sounds good)

The funny thing i disabled the limit framerate, sometimes it crashes but damn the battles are fast at like 150%+ xD

It just down to this branch https://github.com/citra-emu/citra/pull/3091 altogether, Any think that uses Full Motion Video will now Lag Video Falling behind the Audio in any FMV now even on the Latest Citra Canary Builds.

But on other have good to get games working, If i add more IPCDelayNanoseconds like here to 851140; , "Games like "Mario maker work", But "This also cases the FPS Drop" even though its running at 100% +
https://github.com/Jhon591/citra-1/commit/7b3fc82ad7a24cc9be91dea33c120fcb83dc2838

They really should not ignore this issue.., The FMV is over looked by many, If i replace the coding back to the way it was the FMV is back to normal, but games not..

Meaning #3091 need relocating some how, and fixing games and re-fixing the slow FMV video speed that it now is..

citra gets slow after a few minutes playing, what can it be?

I also noticed this, even after closing citra and runing again speed is still slow. But if i delete citra (this version) and download it again speed is awesome and that last some time and than again it slows down and i have to repeat process all over,,does anibody know ehat the problem is?

#3091 is much more correct behaviour then what Citra currently does - one thread should not be able to hold system resources hostage, and that PR is a step forward. It fixes a *huge* amount of issues with many, many other games, and the fact that Pokemon doesn't work correctly is a minor one, frankly. The issues with the FMV are, from what I can tell, a issue which was masked by inaccurate emulation and Citra's core timing (which all of your speedup hacks don't help with). I believe there are people working on it.

I know it dose fix many games, and forget my build, but even in the normal citra canary build that branch is still slagging the Fmv video only down by 10/20% behind the audio, I can test local compiles very quickly with msvc2017, just edit files and click compile takes seconds to build.

"should not be able to hold system resources hostage"

And that's what it is doing to the video/fmv only.. in "latest citra canary", its strangling it.

Is you have it test rune factory 4 starting video, are other, with older build of CC and new CC, go compare guy!, you will see the difference

Any branch related recommended to test ?, see if it fixes the issue..

When I try to create a multiplayer room it keeps saying announcing the room failed. Error: Credentials Required. Anyone knows what the issue is?

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
    +1
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm

  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds

It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space

@rqkaiju2, Physical media is a great source for archiving your data, none of that cloud storage shiz.
