Former Console-news admin and friend [m]mon0[/m] is back and kicking ass with his new project called NFO|Rush. This nicely designed site offers what seems to be one of the largest Console Scene Releases database: 0% warez, 100% iNFO. The team behind the site updates everything real-time and provides the latest NFOs for scene releases: multiregion, multiplatform... If you are looking for information about the latest scene releases, look no further!

It looks really nice, I like how the font matches the background and the style in general. =O
Does it have all the scene releases already? Or are they still being added? (I mean the ones that have already been released obviously).

When I was looking for the first DS releases on your website, I noticed that first release was on the middle of page 193 and all pages between this and the last one are full of unrelated releases.

i don't think i like having the scrubbed releases listed. scrubbed releases are not scene releases and really don't belong there in my opinion. site looks nice but i think im going to stick with ludibria for now.

It could have some kind of sign or whatever to be very clear that they are scrubbed versions.

But information is always good ...being it scrubbed or not :P

its a nice site, pretty clean with a very simple design that i am enjoying.

one large issue is that its listing 7 results at a time. we need an option to list as many as we want. for example, there are 4,321 psp releases. even 100 at a time will take a long time to go through them. i would like to see options for 500 and 1000 at a time.

i'd also like to ask for the ps1 to be included. the lists go back as far as the gamecube. the ps1 is still widely traded, played, enjoyed, and pirated. it should be represented.

So many possible avenues, I know the current trend is to make them as the original but scene releases exist for
Ripped DC games.
Ripped xbox games (indeed a fair few unripped had to be redumped to work on the dvd modded 360s as they were missing required stuff there).
Ripped PC games although I have not seen many of those lately (not that I have looked mind you).
Afraid I do not know enough about the PSP setup to call it but possibly something there as well.

The garbage data basic scrubbing removes (I would possibly give you the scrubbed and relinked versions as they would break some form of signing) does not prevent any game from working so far as I know much less change a single aspect of the gameplay as the actually ripped games do. I mean theoretically they could do an LBA read (see some of the PS2 "hidden" stuff for a technically similar concept and what I have gathered on the 3ds/dsi updates that is sort of what they do when they block cards hence some sticking with the same icon/game for a while but still needing an update) or something similar and check it somehow but I do not know of any games that do it. If it really mattered the rules could be you have to up the scrubbed data before long (err scene style justification- it is a race after all).

Back on topic always nice to have another pre database.

@ANYONE who wants to see more than 7 posts at once :)

There were reasons for me to show only 7. Its performance. Performance will be one mayor factor for websites in future.
Also i wanted to keep the design slick, stylish and not overloaded. That i have to code a funciton in to show more than 7
was clear foe me from the beginning on.

I´m on it. Give me a day or 2 ;)

btw. i skipped the SEO part for the list part... urls so that the nerds
could just set atleast pagenumber via url to whatever they want!

Thanks again for the great feedback, you guys rock.

cheers, mono

UPDATE 1

It is now possible to set the desired value for entries via url. Max entries is 100.
A textfield where you can set number of entries will be available in no time aswell.

For now, change the value "...&entries=7" to whatever you want (1 - 100)

Example: ../new-scene-releases.html?entries=70

its done. you can now set amount of releases in list right below the ad where page # is shown..
i set the limit to 99 ... but that shouldnt bother u that much anymore.

anything else that would come in handy?

btw. i love it when someone says the site is sexy :)

... for those waiting for oldschool releases. yes, psx is almost ready for
import aswell as like 30000 more releases, complete dreamcast, gba, whatever (all with nfo).

cheers fellas

but its a custom os for both of them

  • ColdBlitz @ ColdBlitz:
the ps3 used to support installing linux because the cpu was so powerful

I'm avoiding buying from the big 3 at all atm
