Hacking Changed region, games won't load from cartridge

Just like how region swapping can break ds games from being used though there is a fix for this.

That's not true. DS should work as they do normally after a region change, since DS games are region free.

I’m trying to determine if it’s a hardware or software issue.

Again my issue is that homebrew software can see and identify the type of game inserted but it is not playable or showing on the Home Screen.

What game/ cartridge are you trying to play?
And what other cartridges have you tried so far that didn't work with this system?
