Hi, I have a Supercard dsone. I have a ton of games on my card, including emulated roms for many systems. So I keep them all in a "games" folder that is further organized by system. So to get to my NDS games, each time I boot the Supercard, I must browse to the "games" folder and then to the "NDS" folder. Is there any way to get the card to boot directly to that "NDS" folder?

Thanks

You can change your boot folder in the global.ini file which is located in the SCSHELL folder.

Sweet, thanks man. This is one advantage to basing the cartridge OS on Moonshell; any setting that can be accessed in Moonshell can be accessed in the OS. My son has an Acekard2 and it automatically boots to the last folder that you loaded a game from, pretty nice. I'm not so jealous any more.

BTW, for anyone looking to do this, follow the instructions in the global.ini. The "root" folder on the Supercard is //MPCF/ ... So for me, I set this to //MPCF/Games/NDS

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

The phat model had amazingly loud speakers tho.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite
    for people with beefy hands.
