In windows you access a file from the browser using e.g. file:///C:/Users/<USERNAME>/Desktop/readme.txt

is there a similar way of reading a text files from the 3DS SD card
e.g.
sdmc/dcim/readme.txt

I am trying different path combinations but it is prodding around in the dark.

I would like to keep a text list of the flash card contents to make navigation easier, I have tried several text file readers and they aren't what I want.

There has been a homebrew app I know that made by same developer who created CHMM, by Rei... Don't exactly remember the name. It's a simple file manager that allows opening of files of most known formats. I'm sure it allows viewing text files but can't confirm if it allows editing.

@Rinnegatamante or rinne-majigger as I've often referred to him

OK thanks, easiest way i can find is to upload to dropbox and read from there when I have wifi (or tethering).

I also tried N_O_T_I_C_3_D which had a minor glitch at the start of the file text, and only scrolls click by click but was the nearest to what i want.
