Hardware Can I import Wii original accesories?

Hi All.
Mi cousin and I have Wii, and both bought an spare WiiMote. Now we want to buy an additional nunchuk, but you can't find it on any store, they're all sold up. So I was thinking about buying them on PlayAsia, but they say they are for JAP consoles.

So is there any problem? can I buy it and they will work for sure?

Or... anyone of you knows any european online store to buy it?

I'm fairly confident it will work fine if you have a different region nunchaku, but try googling to find out for sure.

The remotes are not region locked. I use a "Japanese" remote and honestly I don't even know which one it is as there is nothing different about them, even printed on the plastic.

nintendo hasn't been known to region lock accessories.

I have a mixture of different region accessories, wiimotes, nunchucks and classic controllers from the UK, USA and Japan.
They all work fine.

I tried to get one like a month ago with no luck. I kinda hoped them to be back in stock by now.

Don't know in the rest of europe, but in Spain they're all sold out since several months. They say there's a national outage... I think I'm gonna but them... I'll write when they arrive.

When the Wii first launched, it was ridiculously hard to find accessories. It took me 3 months to find a second Wii remote and only after WiiPlay was released did they finally start to appear on shelves.

same with germany. stores are already short on wiimotes and other accesories, but nunchuks can't be found anywhere around here. i've looked in all stores i know so far. i was lucky enough to buy the last 2 wiimotes they had in my local gamestore.

Strangely enough I would've easily got all the accesoires I need, Wiimotes, Classic Controllers, pretty much anything first-party. Just not Nunchucks. No matter where I went. No. Damn. Nunchucks.

After a couple of weeks of waiting and several weeks of playing, I can confirm that Jap Accesories works FINE with EUR consoles!

So If any of you wanna buy a wiimote or a nunchuk, do not hesitate!
