Don't a lot of 360 games not even use the full DL disc? But how would notnarb know it's real in the first place if he hasn't finished downloading it?

It's called compression. They're rar files.

Although admittedly this is well thought out, I still doubt Nintendo would ever use a dual layer disc.

Wii Optical Discs have always used padding to fill it all, they aren't stopping now.
