Which Switch games that have portrait mode do you recommend? I already have the three main pinballs (FX / Star wars, Zaccaria and Arcade) and sky scrappers, I know there are some platforms and several Shoot 'em up but I can't find a list of which ones have vertical mode and if they are worth it.

So far I've been playing Downwell, Donkey Kong, Pacman etc. Apparently the Lost Phone games are quite good but I haven't tried them yet.

The DS emulator has TATE support, the Citra core for 3DS emulation will also support it when it's ready, and so does the homebrew Brick Game simulator being worked on by one of our Tempers.

You forgot the most important TATE core:

I guess there's a bunch of stupid arcade games too via MAME/FBA or something.

Oh sweet, Lynx has always been cool (developed by some ex-Amiga hardware people). Tho the Lynx game I've played the most isn't TATE (Chip's Challenge, obv)
