Currently I use the unofficial CDisplay 1.8.5.1 and I'm kinda looking for suggestions for a better viewer.
I'm happy enough with CDisplay but I'd like to find something that is better/faster, for example there is a slight issue with skipping multiple pages where it gets slow as you quickly skip pages.

What I need:
- Fit Width option
- Japanese/Manga page order
- Scroll Wheel scrolls AND turns page at bottom
- CBR/CBZ support

What I would like:
- Nested archive support (Pref. CBR in CBR)
- Load Next/Previous file shortcut/menu option
- Resume reading from last page option
- Explorer Icon (Shows page as icon)
- Preview mode (Pages as thumbnails)
- Display Two Pages option

I've tried CDisplay 1.8.1, CDisplayEX (an older version), ACDSee, MangaMeeya (probably an old version) and IrfanView, so unless you're sure they can meet all my needs and some of my wants they really don't need to be mentioned

This is another area where I haven't found a comparable application on Windows.

If you have access to an OSX machine there's ComicBookLover, which is so much better than CDisplay its ridiculous (and supports every feature you listed in your post short of CBR in CBR support, which it might, but I don't have such a file available to test).

I use ComicRack. Full of features and is pretty quick for me.
Nice interface as well.
Sorry... no offense to you, but holy crap is ComicRack a shitty program.

It's UI is heavy, it's 'Fit Width' doesn't, the stupid bottom pane keeps popping up every time I look at my mouse which makes the page bounce and jiggle and move and wiggle while it adjusts. And now it crashed when I tried to bring up the menu bar (alt)...

Seems to be fine for me. I should admit though that I only use it rarely.
I normally use MobiReader on my iPhone.

And it is THE portable comic reading program.

i used to go out to the recycling center every couple weeks and look at the crts and other electronics people would drop off. Usually screens were broken or severely scratched from being tossed around. Did find a good one here and there, but never anything like a 1080i widescreen crt.

Is it piracy if it was released for free? Not in my opinion, but I also think it's not piracy if buying it isn't owning it, and it's not piracy if you can't buy it from the original creators anymore.

Free release can have loopholes where they still make money through ads
