I just got a Jasper fat 360 that I want to get JTAG'ed (has dash 12611) off of someone on craigslist today, and the guy included 66 games burned onto Verbatim DVD DL media.

I was wondering how would I back these up to my Windows 7 PC?

Thanks!

You can use Imgburn. Just select Create image file from disc. You need a DL DVD drive though.
And if you patch the ISO with abgx360, it will create the .DVD file for you as well as making sure you got a good backup

NAND0,

what do you mean when you say I need a DVD DL drive? Don't most DVD-ROM drives read DL discs?

Ripping burned discs never worked for me with XBC

Then your probably doing something wrong if you don't use xbox backup creator the dumped ISO will be missing layer information and its AP25 sectors (though that can be fixed again using abgx360)

Your drive doesn't matter since the DVD the games are burnt on have no protection don't worry about it. unless you're trying to rip a retail disc you would need a kreon drive

You've got a 360 that you want to get RGH'd you mean.
JTAG had been dead since 8xxx.

Why not get it RGH'd, pop the DVDs in the 360 and rip them to the harddrive?
Not only is it easier and quicker, it also saves a lot of fiddling around with hardware.

Yup 7371 was the last dash exploitable by the SMC hack (Jtag).

Could I FTP the game over from the 360's DVD drive to my PC in ISO/.DVD format to my PC once my 360 is RGH'ed?

No. When you use the 360 to rip 360 games, it extracts it in file format for the RGH/Jtag. Once this is done, you cannot rebuild it to a proper ISO. You can, depending on the DVD drive model (or equipment you have), connect the DVD drive to the PC and rip the games straight to the PC. You will either need to flash a 0800 firmware to it, or have something like the usb pro v2 from Team Xecuter that connects the drive to the PC and the drivers will auto detect the drive.

If I may ask, why would you want to have them in ISO format.
Seeing you want yours RGH'd?
I would like to back these discs up to my PC in whatever format, as well as have them on my 360 (after it is RGH'ed). Then I won't need the discs.

Then I personally suggest ripping them with the RGH'd box.
Cut out the middle steps ;]

If you're keen on getting ISO's from them, then XBC and a 0800 drive is required (it won't read already backupped discs tho)

DinohScene,

I don't have to rip to ISO. If I can rip to my PC (preferably without having to connect my 360 DVD drive to my PC), that's all I care about, since I want a backup of all these discs.

No problem~
I don't reside in the US unfortunately, nor do I offer RGHing service at this moment, otherwise I'd say send it to me.
