Bah. Nothing about FighterZ on the Switch. :(

Since it will only be getting a physical release on PS4 I guess it's safe to say sales won't be all that good on PS3/Vita, not to mention it's phased a phased out console and handheld.

Marvelous/Xseed had Fate Extella ports. Otherwise, they had a fantastic E3 booth and made most of their games available there so they likely weren't largely concerned with AE this year.

You mean like that Hatoful boyfriend game with all the birds? o_o

Yes, Hatoful is an otome.
It's a reverse harem. Female mc, male harem.

I don't see the point in playing Japanese games if the devs wont stop creating games that uses decades old game mechanics, while every one else in other country's are using modern game mechanics. Japan is stuck in the past and they need to get their shit together.

Probably because they're better than most of the garbage released in the west.
Lets be real here. One of the best games with a "western" game style is Dark Souls, a series made by a japanese dev team.
Mario?
Zelda?
Fire Emblem?
"insert other Nintendo game developed by Nintendo of Japan (aka all Nintendo games)"
Platinum games? (you know, the kings of action games currently?)
Literally all fighting games

You're actually dumber than I thought now that i'm remembering all the games japan brings out. I'm sure I could greatly expand on that list if i wanted to.

A few games come out with older game mechanics. Plenty of devs in the west also do that. Or just rehash, like most major FPS series, sports games, racing games, etc
I believe the problem isn't that the mechanics are "old", it's just that you aren't fond of them and can't find a valid reason to insult them. Turn based is what i'm assuming you're getting at. While not my favorite system it can be very fun when done right, Atlus proves that time and time again.
