I'm using the NLSE app on computer and I can do these ! Also, with the old method, I remember Hex editing my save file to change my town name.
Ah, thanks. Didn't know there was an NLSE for desktop

From what I have read, you have to copy the code in the advanced section from the latest save to the old save.I was wondering, what does the "anti-cheat" thingy does exactly ? I'm not sure I completely understand what it means when it says you have to use your most recent save file.
I want to do major acres renovations in my town, but I'm aware I might end up disliking the new map. With the old RAM editor I would have stored a backup of my actual town on my computer so I could inject it whenever I want. From what I understand, I can't do this anymore as it's not my most recent save file ?
In other words, let's say I inject my modified town but realize my new map is screwed up/glitchy/ugly. I have the save from my old town on my computer. What do I do to recover it ?
Oh okay, I vaguely remember seeing this part on the online editor. I think it's not on the desktop NLSE software, though. Thanks a lot !From what I have read, you have to copy the code in the advanced section from the latest save to the old save.
I had the same problem as you, but I realized it was actually a mistake on my end lol. When you download the save manager from here https://gbatemp.net/threads/save-data-manager-and-editor-for-firmware-up-to-9-9.396245/ do not click the two "my SMDH" and "JJtapia19's" files. Instead, scroll to the bottom of the first post and click on the attached file. This file should be a zip in which there are THREE files. Extract the save manager folder and put it on the /3ds folder of your SD card.Could anyone help me with a problem I am repeatedly encountering?
I've followed the methods here(homebrew method): http://usuaris.tinet.cat/mark/acnl_editor/help.html and am able to lauch the home menu. But, when I try downloading the save editor file, a file icon titled save_manger.smdh shows up. When I moved that into the 3ds file and launch it through homebrew, nothing shows up.
Is the file broken? Or did I mess up somewhere? I have the O3DS 10.1.0-27U, and I'm using tubehax.
Hey Marc, I love your editor. I was wondering if you'd consider an option for directly editing player house exteriors (fence, pavement, siding, roof, mailbox, and door)? Waiting for Nook to have a specific part on display takes forever. I know this can be done with hex editing, but it would be awesome if I could use the editor to make it easier. Thanks for considering it!
That is indeed coded in the editor, however, it's still unknown its secondary effects, that's why it's not enabled.This. Especially because plenty of us cannot hex edit.
Please add catalog and house exterior editing to the tool

Not the ram method, but the homebrew method and savedatafiler method work with this.Does this work on Emunand using Gateway? I am new to these, sorry
what did you do to achieve thisNot sure if anyone has had the same but ever since using the editor I never receive mail anymore? Also villagers keep saying Pete is in town but he is no where to be found! Does anyone know how to fix this?
Thanks!
I need help. I am trying to put a old ram back up on top of my new garden.dat. So what I did was I loaded my new garden.dat in NLSE then chose import ram. After that I though I would be good. Except it corrupted my save so I figured out it is because it doesn't create a new player.dat. Can anyone help?
My 2 files are down bellow.
Browserhax and themehax are available still.YouTube got patched today and I can't hack anymore. I never got to install IronHax and I can't afford Cube Ninja right now. I wish I did install IronHax. Now I'm stuck with this town. :/
