Depends on what you mean by "can I still get it". If you have your Wii setup to use WiiConnect24, then yes you'll get the DLC. But if you're looking for a way to acquire all the past DLC items, you can use this tool but it involves extracting your AC:LGTTC save file and editing it on the computer with this program:

Heh. I made a few HDLC, back in the day. On your Wii, transfer your save file over to a SD card. (I'm not sure if they are protected. I used Savegame Extractor/Injector way back when.) Then open up RVFOREST.DAT, with the EzDLC Installer.

Or if your Wii has the Homebrew Channel a friend of mine made DiiLC.

Either way, you're going to need the HBC. To extract the save, or run the application.

You could use the way Devin explained above, OR launch any Backup Launcher channel and go under Options, then Rebooter Options, and enable Remove Copy Flag and then reboot the Wii. You will be able to copy/transfer a copy protected save.

EDIT: Yes, Animal Crossing does has a copy protected save Devin.
