"Do not feed the birds [with cash]" or else you will aggravate them even more so. Angry Birds is simply overrated. To stop Rovio from growing with its astronomical games, do not click on anything related to accumulate the views leading to more novice noticing these space junks.

The comments here are screaming this so I'll say it out loud: If an indie game start to have more success, it'll be hated more than anything. Angry Birds was made by Rovio when they were basically nothing. Sure they've started making a living out of it, but they're no worse than any other company in existence. Saying "oh this again.." is just the same as crying "oh another Mario game?" at Nintendo. Or "Again a Zelda? Sheesh give us something new!" Hell every company rides what they're good at. You can't expect something new to come out every day. Angry Birds may be a simple kids game, but it does have something that many other games and consoles don't have: fast gaming, enough to waste a few minutes when waiting for the bus or something.

Sure we could wait for Nintendo, Sony, Activision or Bethesda to make all the great games they've made in the past again and not want for new possibilities in gaming. I like options. That's one of the reasons there are games featuring My Little Pony and Nintendogs. I may not like them, but if someone does, they really deserve to be for sale. Also do note that you can actually get Angry Birds for free, something that can't be said for many other gaming companies in the same scale (sales wise) as Rovio.

Wow guys what's with all the hate? I like the game, it's fun and a good time waster. Of course there are better games on the App stores/Android stores but it's still a well made game. I'll download this one and i'm sure it's just as polished as Angry Birds Rio was.

Why do people love Angry Birds so damn much? I tried playing them countless times and after the first few levels I quickly noticed how boring and uninteresting it was.
I don't think putting it in space will change that either.

There's certainly worse things you can buy for a dollar. I'm personally not a fan of the game but I don't see what's wrong with it. What makes a game like this a "non-game" but a game like Tetris not? They're both accessible to a broad audience and both are based around incredibly simple concept. The difference is that Tetris is a "classic" and "ageless" while Angry Birds is "casual" and "crap".

Everyone would regard it as a "great game" if it was $10 honestly. It's a simplistic puzzler but it's also challenging and you get quite a lot of bang for your buck. Everyone hates it though because of its low price which people instantly begin to regard it as a "non-game" for.
