Dude can't think last time i picked up a book
really should turn off all my gadget and stick my nose in one

I'm on my fourth book. I read the autobiography of Captain Kirk and the autobiography of Jean Luc Picard. then, I read a random trek novel. it's hard to get into reading, at least it was for me, after being so obsessed with just technology in general. however, you will enjoy it after a time. I've been reading a chapter, then playing bravely default 2 for an hour. there's always a trek marathon on bbc america on the weekdays from like 4 in the morning 'til 4 in the afternoon. it must be really popular to devote that much time to it.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

it has deep space nine from 4 to 11 a.m. then it's next gen for the rest of the marathon. then, there's another channel with all five classic trek series, one after the other, from 7 'til midnight. so basically, trek is on almost nonstop here in America on cable.

I heard it’s a low key analogue version of the internet...

the good thing about books is that they're like an episode of star trek that never aired. :D though, I'm not sure how this is even possible, but Kirk is occupying the same time as Picard and Admiral Janeway, who are also in the book. the rest of the enterprise crew are there too. it says both Kirk and Spock arrived through different means, but some people like McCoy, are 150-something years old. he was in the first episode of next gen around 140 years old. this is supposed to take place after the Dominion War. maybe I'll find out more.
