Dont know. I dont have Yuzu or Ryujinx. Try on console/Ryujinx. As I read, in some update they removed the possibility of cheats in YUZU. Not sure and think its not true.

This game has double buffer. So if you won't get perfect 60 FPS performance, it will stay at 30.

This game has double buffer. So if you won't get perfect 60 FPS performance, it will stay at 30.

At any rate, Ryujinx seems to work at 60 FPS.

This usually means that game is using Dynamic Resolution with fixed target and target is set to timing that results in this max FPS. If they will set target frame time to for example 32.5ms, you will get max 30.77 FPS.

it should be 30.33 in my tests,
that mean 33ms of r.DynamicRes.FrameTimeBudget in UE
But this game is not developed by UE
I failed from finding it out

So it's essentially impossible to get Sonic Frontiers' framerate unlocked to 60 FPS. What a shame! Probably would struggle to achieve that anyway even at 720P and overclocked tbh.

You sure about 1.8? Last update i see its 1.0.7 (v458752) and its already have 60 FPS mod by ecl0674 and cucholix, can try:

So I just read that recent article regarding Switch performance that Frontiers is still running on an updated modified Hedgehog Engine. The same one I believe that started with Unleashed iirc. Just diving into the romFS I've already found traces of notes for debug levels with console codenames (NX, Orbis, Durango, Scarlett, etc) which i think indicates there is a possibility the values could be determined by reviewing fps mods of previous games in the series like forces. It's just that idk what gets lost in translation like... as a Switch port ... a 30.33 or 32.5 frametime value for example
