You don't crash at the train.... You just cannot use the train controls.
The game plays fine, there's just no user input to control the trains actions.

As it was pointed out for me earlier, the game runs fine on a R4 1.18 when you turn off the softreset function, if it's hanging at the Ninty logo (not sure about the white screen though), so you dont really have to use YSMenu.

Edit: The game runs fine -> it starts, but still without the train overlay, it's the same as using YSMenu

I greatly dislike using YSMenu. I hate that it doesn't look nearly as nice as the official. Plus, it just bugs me. Hopefully we'll get a normal patch soon though.

You could use YSMenu with DSision, that works. All that doesn't work is that you have to switch back to ugly YSmenu when you want to use cheats, but that's the only reason you'd have to execute ysmenu.nds with DSision working...

Ok, there is another problem. I can get to all these settings except NDS-Cartridge Backup Media. We can't access auto for saving. Does that mean that the newest version of No$GBA doesn't have access to this feature?

Yep, just turned off softreset and bam. works fine minus the overlay.

Um... Refer to the bolded part of the quote. That's why we should already have an AP fix. Because if that was available for download then certainly AP fix should already have been.
