Hacking 4.x Safe Updates

Since waninkoko has dropped out of the wii scene is anyone going to make safe updaters?
I have already made a 4.1 Safe updater myself.

It uses cIOS it downloads and installs (Legally)
If someone would like to try it... I could make the next updater safe!

Is this a good idea?

Waninkoko already said he'd still release his updaters (what would the world do without him [sarcasm] ), and zektor also released a safe updater for 4.2. TBH, "safe updaters" are fail. They dont let you install what you want, but force on you what the creator thinks is best. If you want to update, either update officially, use WADs from NUSD or use dop-IOS MOD. These are all better options than any "safe updater".

The 4.2 safe updater from zektor actually does just that. It only installs new IOS's and the new system menu. But instead of doing it manually through nus, it does it for you.

exactly, it does it for you. it doesnt let you choose what you want to do. Using dop-IOS MOD, you can choose exactly what you want to install and upgrade YOUR way, not zektor's way, not waninkoko's way, YOUR way.
