Oh, and as always: Please report any bugs you encounter.
Please don't think because of the title which fileformat the Video is. Be sure that the Video IS in 3D by looking at it and finding out the type of the video. And make sure you use the latest version of the Converter. You can either use 2.2 or 2.3_RC1.I'm having a strange problem. I have a file called Half Over Under, so I assume the top-down option should convert it. When it says it converted, though, it shows no file in the output section. I go into the folder that has the movie converter program, and it shows two new files LEFT and RIGHT, where the left's file size is 0 and the right's is about 60mb......any idea as to what I'm doing wrong?
Never really tested Top-Down Conversion because it is very rare, just used the parameters which should have worked. Seems like you're even the first person who noticed it.Yep I checked to make sure it was a top/down 3d movie. Even after rechecking to make sure .net framework was installed properly, the program still never created a file. Googled it and tried another version and it worked fine *shrugs* yours works great for sbs though
Nothing more to say.Conversion time depends on the speed of your computer and the resolution of your input video. The larger the video, the more time it takes to process. Most video formats should convert without any issues.
Nope, that isn't a bug, the video you are trying to convert just has Left and Rigth swapped. That mean's the Video for the left eye is on the right side and vice versa.very good program and many thanks
i have just one problem, every 3d video was inverted (screen right at left and left at right)
mirrored mode is missing for side by side
can you do it for the next upgrade please and after that i think your program will be perfect
thanks again
PS: perhaps i have a bug on my windows ? or the video downloaded are inverted and bad luck for me ???
sorry for my bad english !!!
As far as I know the date is stored in the Metatag of the video in an unknown format and because converted videos doesn't have these tags the 3DS just says 01/01/1900. So there's no fix for this. Besides I find that really comfortable when your own videos don't mix up with the ones you've taken with your 3DS. Besides I'm still trying to find a way to put custom Text on the Preview Images on the 3DS.Ok I got this 288mb 10 min file but the 3DS can't seem to find it. Does that mean the 3DS has a file size read limit?
*Edit
Okay I put more of the parts on the sd card but it can only find one file and it dates it to 01/01/1900. I read on page two that somebody had sort of the same problem. Is there a fix for this?
And great job Neku! Now I can brag to my friends that I have a 3D tv.
When the 3DS runs homebrew are you going to make a video application?
Maybe there is still an error converting 3D-Videos longer than 10 minutes (2D works fine), but did you tried the latest version V2.3_RC1? If yes, than wait for the next version coming next week.Ok SO I had a bunch of 3D videos downloaded (Lots of IMAX 3D documentaries on the internet... and porn! LOL)
SO I had this one video, It was a side by side video, encoded it using your prog, all went fine, placed in the DS, worked like a charm... now I didnt have much space left in my SD card so I took the video out and back in my computer 'cuz I wanted to try other videos... I renamed the video from VID_0001 to the movie title. I then encoded several other movies, I placed them all on my SD card and none of them are detected... thats weird...
I placed the first video back into my DS, the one that worked... and now the DS doesnt detect it at all... OK I figured maybe it's the name... I renamed the first movie Back to VID_0001 and The DS does detect it, So ok, I let all the other videos named VID_**** but the DS doesnt detect it... whats up? I checked and compared the video that works to the others that doesnt, and I cant see anything different, same resolution, same quality, same settings... the only thing different is the time... the video that works is a 7min video, while the others were longer videos but chopped in 9min59sec parts.
