Homepass is not affected by 9.6. It is a completely separate issue.

Apparently not. But give it time and see if they make an update for R4iG.

If you have it and you have 9.6, try it and see. My guess is "yes" since they're trying to block 3DS ROMs not DS.

If you don't have 9.6 yet, don't be stupid. Stay on what works and wait it out.
