3DS Sound - Play more than 110 songs?

Is the Nintendo 3DS sound (the music app on the home menu) limited to loading only 110 songs from the SD card? i copied 700 mp3's to the sd card, but the 3ds loads only the first 110 (phone broke so i cant use it for music)

Very silly limit. SOunds like nintendo alright

Put your music files into folders. Each folder should contain max. 100 titles with an overall maximum of 3000 music files on the SD.
(Those are the official values).
