well this has effectively made gateways latest release almost useless ,i was going to update the emunand on my 3ds to download the youtube app

Wow, I've never seen people so concerned about Nintendo's download network being down Unbelievable.

Not entirely. It may just take a few tries to connect. I don't imagine that downloading a full game is all that possible yet, provided that the service is still unreliable, so if that's your intent, you're probably better off waiting a few more hours to see if the service stabilizes.
