So I've just seen a couple of comments lying around youtube where people are posting links to 3DS emulators. As far as I was aware, the best emulator for 3DS so far can only play Homebrew software, is that right or has there been a big step up in the Emulation scene?

This was one of the sites shown was at http://3ds.freeunlimitedgems.com/ (Sorry if this shouldn't be linked, just curious) and it looks a little sketchy to me but just looking for confirmation on 3DS Emulation status.

I'm not bothered about Emulating the system myself, just interested hahaha

EDIT: Citra is the one I'd heard about, though have noticed it's possible to run a selection of 3DS games, though not at high speed is that right too?

So 3dmoo has a LITTLE potential to be a 3DS emulator to run retail games? Could someone worm with it to run retail games?

3dmoo runs several commercial games...

Now obviously they aren't perfect yet but they do run.

3dmoo and Citra are advancing almost equally in terms of commercial support (a lot of the devs from each trade ideas/code around), so chances are that if you see a video which runs a game perfectly it's not either.
