You getting weird lines across the screen?

Are the new 360's likely to get the 3 red lights too?

from reading around it sounds like its fucked - cant believe how shit the build quality is if you read around a bit! haven't even used it much! think an angry letter to John Lewis' is in order, might try and get my money back and get a PS3 instead if its going to happen again - the drive now sounds like itsa growling at me, can't be good. It's ok playing DVD's though...

I would say from my experience... that I think that the Xbox 360 controller is the best, Gamecube was fine, and Playstation was the worst... I didn't really feel like adding in the Wii because I didn't know how to compare that.

If it's only been 4 months... than that means you still have warranty right? I'd say get it repaired if you really like it that much... And even if you wanted to get some used console money out if it, it'd have to be repaired anyways.

I'm on my 4th 360, I complained so much over the course of the repairs and returns, I got 2 wireless controllers, a wireless headset, 3 Games including Forza 2, 6 months gold account ( you get one month each time you get your 360 repaired anyway ) and then a brand spanking new 360 with HDMI port, because it was new it came with a hard disk in the box and as I didn't return mine for repairs I have now got 2. This final one with the HDMI port is much, much quieter so much so you cant tell its even on.... Oh they even delivered it by express courier 2 days before xmas...

If you need it repaired tell then it has a random RROD, they have to repair it then and also give you extra years on your warnantee

thats why i wont buy a xbox 360 yet becasue they break down easily.

GET LOST PS3 FANBOY

You sound like the only fanboy here.
Just because she doesn't want to get a 360 yet doesn't mean she's a PS3 fanboy.
Some people here get some defensive.

It is undeniable, that she has been posting negative comments in a lot of 360 threads lately, contributing nothing to the discussion.

oh and her youtube channel, you can obviously tell she has a thing for dissing the 360

Considering this thread is "OMFGMYXBOXRRODED!@#!@#%$!@#", I think it was inevitable someone would post a negative comment.

Sorry about the RROD dude, some unlucky guy got his brand new Arcade RROD'ed in two days so cheer up.

On the other hand, it's been like almost 10 months since mine was exchanged by MS and no freezes that I recall since then.

RROD is like a milestone, I know it's a time bomb but I don't mind holding onto it. If I get less than 3 RRODs before the next gen XBox comes out, I'll be happy enough.

You see it as a negative comment, we see it as a fair opinion. The 360 DOES break down a lot. It is fact. I love the games but god damn the thing expires faster than the milk in my fridge!

Point taken. I re-read it and it wasn't that negative. It was more of me over-reacting.

People have different level of tolerance towards RROD, and 360s have various speed of breaking.
There are enough launch 360's that are still working to have people post "But my launch 360 is still working very fine and I play it extensively",
and there are enough 360's that break in a blink.

I think I have rather high tolerance, but I still feel for the TC.
