There was an update to WMC within the last few months, so maybe someone will port it. At the very least, you might be able to get a forwarder.

Wiimc needs gamepad support to be perfect for wii u but idk if someone Will implement it.

I just wonder why the WII homebrew can't be ported to wii u? WII MC can't work in wii u mode? Or least maybe a file browser that uses the web browser's video player instead at least? 
The Wii U homebrew scene is not very active. The PS3 scene is also pretty dismal... it's all definitely feasible. In another thread I was just bitching about the lack of native dedicated emulators... same issue. I guess there are just so many Wii's out there.. still you'd think something would get ported.

Re: my player; using the "simple" mjpeg was a bad idea. I just couldn't get the framerate to a reasonable level. You can check out the code here: if you try it for yourself, you'll see what I mean.

There was a comparison of the number of Ibuprofen poisonings before and after they limited the maximum dosage per box or per pill (i'll look that up). No limit on the number of boxes you can still buy as many as you want, so people argued it was pointless. -

Here we have ketoprofen that used to be prescription-only because of the risk of toxic dosages, but then they halved the dose per pill and sell them in bottles of six pills apiece instead of twenty and it doesn't need a prescription any more. Yes you can buy more than one bottle but people simply don't.
