[Developers/Game hacking] Ocarina Codes Request

Gentlemen,

I prefer to play GameCube games, using a Nintendont on Wii (or WiiU). It is fine piece of software, however it doesn't allow axis remapping on C-stick.

I wonder if someone here could help me out. I am in a need for Ocarina Cheat Engine Codes for two games:

Star Wars Rogue Squadron III: Rebel Strike [NTSC] - Invert C-Stick Y-axis code needed for a first person view
Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life [NTSC] - Invert C-Stick X-axis code needed

I reported the issue to developers about half a year ago, but there was no progress since. Details are at https://github.com/FIX94/Nintendont/issues/360

Could someone with the right skills produce these codes, please? Playing these games without using proper controls halves the joy...
or you could get used to it ? lol it takes literraly 30 mins to become used to inverted controls on any game i know since i played alot of games but after the first 30 mins anyone should be used to them.

I guess you are better than me since after completely playing Banjo Kazooie I still kept trying to use the controls from other games.

I want to check something.
After updating to 4.446 the USBloaderGX hangs on starting the games (tried a few).
Nintedont itself works fine when started from the homebrew browser

so... can someone point me to the 4.445 version so I can check if that one works fromUSBLgx

What version of USB Loader GX are you using? r1262 should work fine with the latest Nintendont. You just won't be able set the options for skipping the GC BIOS or Wii remote rumble.

Yes r1262.
I had it all working, until this morning I updated nintendont with latest version.
Now f zero ax (triforce) hangs up Wiiu complete (take it of mains) and f zero gx (gamecube) goes black screen but doesn't hang up.
With home button I go back to usbloadergx BUT still black screen. Have to use gamepad with wiimote to exit Wii mode.

The nintendont application itself starts-up both games just fine.
Btw. Some other games like mario kart (gamecube as well as triforce ones) still work from usbloadergx.

make sure settings are being forced specialy width, afaik f zero blackscreens if width value is forced onto the game, maybe when you updated nintendont the width setting is now not default.

You can edit your GXConfig.cfg file and change the value "NINVideoScale" to 0 for auto width. It currently cannot to be set to 0 through the loader.

Using a hori battlepad and i noticed how the controller is way too sensitive in certain games like killer 7 where i need to aim using the left analog.
Is there a way to change the sensitivity?

its sensible becuase those controllers suck, you cant change sensitivity when the controller you are using has less values than the original wich is the case.

basicaly any CC or hori pad the analog has a limit of values of 1 to 128 and the c stick has even less if im not mistaken it was around 1-63 or something really low.

while the GC controller sticks had values of 1-256 so yeah you can see why CC and fightpads and whatever look very sensible in nintendont becuse they have hardware that is very crappy and limited so anytime you tilt just a bit on the c stick is like you tilted 4 or 5 times on the gc controller, nintendont needs to extrapolate the 1.63 into 1-256 so you cant never get the same sensitivity and theres nothing that can be done since your CC/fightpad/ccpro does not have the same or more values than the gc controller, the wiiu pro on the other hand has more values on each stick so you even get a smoother sensitivity than actual gc controller lol.

Would a ps3 controller have the same problem as well?

Last week my cousin used my wii and was playing 20xx when he tried to use the cheats option from the Nintendont settings to see if he can mess around with the game. Before that the game ran perfectly but ever since he started the game with that setting on it won't boot; instead it goes directly into a black screen. Even now it just goes into a black screen after turning the cheats option off. All the other games work fine it's just this particular game that got messed up. Anybody have any idea what went wrong and how to fx?
