I wouldn't call it the definitive version of anything tbh. It's a nice game to have on my Switch but not the kind of game I'd pull out and play on the bus or train. (Not that I take my Switch out much, I still feel my 3DS does a nicer job for public transport trips.)
Doesn't the PS4 version have bigger maps too or something? Might be wrong.

Vita version is VERY LIMITED compared to Switch version, since worlds are WAY SMALLER (864×864 blocks of vita VS 3072x3072 blocks on switch)
and yeah, I prefer PC version A LOT, but It depends if you play with your friends online or locally. I guess.

There was a comparison of the number of Ibuprofen poisonings before and after they limited the maximum dosage per box or per pill (i'll look that up). No limit on the number of boxes you can still buy as many as you want, so people argued it was pointless.

Here we have ketoprofen that used to be prescription-only because of the risk of toxic dosages, but then they halved the dose per pill and sell them in bottles of six pills apiece instead of twenty and it doesn't need a prescription any more. Yes you can buy more than one bottle but people simply don't.
