now when we look at all the nintendo consoles and ask, why did it lack the third party support and answers to this are because of nintendo.

N64 - expensive cart format vs the cd format, plus cd's allowed devs to do new things
Cube - had the hardware, had limited storage but also became more of a kids console littered with mario (insert activity) but third party loyalty continued from the PS1 over to the PS2 and even MS got better support even for its first console.
Wii - didnt have the hardware, had limitations on control hence why it was littered with same old party mini games. again devs then focused more to the PS3/360 hardware and left the wii out.
Wii u - didnt interest devs because it was just a subpar last gen system and again they focused on PS4/XBX1 hardware.

Now the switch, inferior hardware, expensive cart format...... what on earth gives people the impression that the issues repeated during the last four consoles nintendo released is somehow going to be different..... what because nintendo promised to do better this time, fuck me i heard the same shit after the N64.

if this is all nintendo have, then once its wow factor dies down the switch will become the same old forgotten console while third parties continue to focus on the other systems and will only port its old crap if its capable

so lets ignore MK8 DX because its not much different that nintendo couldnt save your dollar and release as a WII U DLC pack..... what else has the switch got coming....... not much. then we circle back to what third parties are going to release and we see the above referencing to the same as before....... nothing much and wii know why.

How about Gran Turismo, how about Forza, how about Mortal Kombat or Street Fighter.
How about Fifa or Call of Duty or any 1st person shooter, how about Final Fantasy that one actually has remasters from old Sony consoles. All rehashed old games, they're called "genre" titles.

I think you're making too big a deal of this first party/third party business.
It doesn't matter, as a game is still a game in the end. As mentioned above, having it ported to a newer console, which undoubtedly has a larger player base than the Wii U, allows several newcomers to play the game which they would not be able to play without purchasing a Wii U. For those of us who already have MK8 on the WiiU... The price is disappointing.

MK8D is basicaly a definitive edition, why on earth cant nintendo make a definitive edition of a game from a previous gem? srs you make no sence at all, all your logic is flawed, every freaking company in gaming has made editions of the same game with extra content and even on newer gens.

sony had tlou and gow3 right on the release time give or take on ps4.

because what definitive about it, its physically identical other than some slight changes that people didnt like in the wii u version.

and yes you are right, as it is a racing game but again you miss that this is a game nintendo re releases like all its other games on EVERY SINGLE CONSOLE, nothing new about them other than a graphical upgrade..... nintendo in general keep re releasing the same games, and again pointing out something comes as no suprise you dont get much option of anything else.

so when ps4 at launch had gow 3 remastered and tlou and ms had the masterchief colection, and i could go on and on on uncharted triloygy,gow,etc where were you bashing them for rereleasing old crap on their new launched consoles? i didint see you there lol.

And we can, and do, play plenty of 3rd party titles on those consoles right?

And that we probably have no need to have them on a Nintendo console because we just buy them on PS4...right?

And that we may have families and kids we enjoy playing family friendly titles together on the couch that we can all enjoy........right?
