It's not like i hated Kirby's Epic Yarn or anything. It just wasn't as good as the main series Kirby games. And even those are pretty low on my list. I've never been a huge fan of Kirby games but I did play through the Wii one (Kirby's Adventure) and had fun with it.

I only watch the commentaries on him. He fails at video games and doesn't ever research them before reviewing them. I mean he said he's been a fan of Kirby since the first game, Kirby's Adventure. Apparently he's never heard of Kirby's Dream Land on the Game Boy, which came out a year prior. He also called Super Mario Bros. 2: The Lost Levels, a perfect "predecessor" to the original Super Mario Bros. I mean how can you get "successor" and "predecessor" mixed up? Can't believe the IG is 10 years old. Seems just like yesterday when everyone was calling him an "AVGN ripoff". I'll never forget Armake21's rant on him. It was so fucking hilarious! I even sometimes visit this website called "Irate Gamer Sucks", it a blog on what he does. Apparently he's sank to a new low by looking at boxes with random shit inside of them and reviewing really shitty mobile games that nobody gives a fuck about.

Personally, I didn't like Kirby's Epic Yarn much. It was too casual and too detached from the gameplay that made the Kirby series good.
However, I loved the hell out of Yoshi's Woolly World, it's one of the best Yoshi themed games in ages. Excellent music, an excellent soundtrack, and with some very well designed levels.
I also loved the hell out of DKC:TF though. I would love more of those kind of games.
But the main point is, it doesn't have to be yarn themed to be good. DKC:TF satisfied my need for a Donkey Kong game, if they want to make another that's great, but I don't really see a need for a yarn theme there because it was so good as is.

I still think Kirby Air Ride is the weakest Kirby game, IMO. It should've been more like Mario Kart, then it would've been a great game like Diddy Kong Racing.

DKR was a great game, but the DS version really sucked. They butchered the soundtrack. I can understand why Banjo and Conker were taken out, but why replace the mini-games that require the secret keys, those were fun!

I really wish Rare would consider putting DKR and SFA on the Virtual Console. I mean yeah they seem more likely than Banjo-Kazooie, Conker's Bad Fur Day, and Perfect Dark. Sadly though, we'll probably only see the inferior DS version, if the Switch has DS VC games.

I thought kirby and the rainbow curse was pretty good. it made great use of the gamepad. I just wish other games could've been designed like that. I mostly game on the wii u with the pro controller.

I'm still mad at Nintendo Life for giving the Virtual Console version of Canvas Curse, a 5/10 while giving the VC version of Double Dragon III, a 7/10. The scores should be swapped around. Then again, NL fails at reviewing VC games. Not all of their reviews suck but some of them do like their YW2 one, almost as bad as IGN's review. I can understand some of the NES games getting 5s and 6s since they're pretty old, but when a DS game like DK: Jungle Climber gets a 6, while it's GBA prequel gets a 7, then they're not reviewing the game right. Hell, they even gave Mario Party DS, a 6/10 because of no multiplayer, yet gave Mario Party Advance, a 7/10 and a lot of people say that's one of their least favorite entries in the series. MPA was alright but it was still a mediocre entry in the franchise.

Maybe yarn DK could work since DK isnt always story-heavy. Maybe we could have one of the kongs (diddy maybe) wearing a MAGIC scarf and you play in his yarn related dreams?

Was more thinking, why not try a different style? We got Paper for Mario, Yarn/Claymation for Kirby and also yarn for Yoshi...
How about... Stopmotion puppets? Like Coraline, Kubo, Nightmare before Christmas, ect? I think I'd make for an interesting game.

Yo-Kai Watch is kinda fading out, but I don't think it's dead yet. The anime still airs on Disney XD, where I live. We still have YW3 to look forward to, as well as the 2nd and 3rd films being dubbed and there's a 4th one. Also, maybe a crossover with Pokemon in about 5 years from now. It's just a shame that the anime could be a lot better if they made it more darker while still being appropriate for kids. Even the Pokemon anime had serious moments.

thats the problem with yokai watch! its too soft even though it could be MUCH darker.

ysee this? this is a Gashadokuro yokai. yknow what its made of? THE BONES OF FAMISHED PEOPLE. Their spirits are so pissed that their bones become huge and they go on to kill people.

yknow what happens when you're killed by it? YOUR BONES JOIN THE MONSTER,MAKING IT STRONGER.

So you can't have an army go against it,you can only attack it one-on-one. Die? well the monster,now with your bones and spirit fueling it,are now going to murder your innocent village,and all their bones will fuel it EVEN MORE!!!

How do you beat one? idk.
