...thats what the tongue face was for /lesigh lighten up a bit. telling someone to simply get rid of gateway when they ask for help, then saying no, not possible with save unless xyz isnt really that nice of a thing to do. I have cfw, a9lh, gateway, as well as a .sav file from gateway and managed to figure out how to fix the problem.

I'm curious as to how you managed to get it to work. Why do you have the Gateway when you have a9lh?

had gateway back when it was cool, just kept using it, like the drag drop option for my card rather than wait for cia downloads and installs.

so how to get a gateway save to work is you take your 0004000000179800.sav (US special edition) make a back up and rename it as 000400000FF40A00.sav put that on your sd card, then select fe fates from your gateway menu, then you can use sdf to extract the files with the CTR Card no longer broken. Not sure whats up with the 000400000FF40A00 but it makes your card1 games show up.

I have a problem and a stupid question :
-I modify stats ok BUT when i leveled up support to my avatar with others,my stats's put back the "maximum stat"...from the game of course,not 99
-that risk to crash my game or worse if i put a female avatar ?(on save with male avatar)
well...i guess you will not reply my question and stuff so...well good luck

i use svdt to export my save file, but it only has chapter0 and chapter 1 exported, not the chapter im on? am i using the wrong save manager beause i have the special edition of FE? im really confused and any help would be grateful (:

I recommend using JKSM over svdt, for one. Also, the chapter files correspond to the save file, Chapter0 being the first file, Chapter1 being the second file, etc.

If you are hitting cap stats, it will only do so up to the natural cap of the unit.
If you are doing it throught the in-built hex editor, i assume you are modifying the statue caps, which are highly modifiable through in-game events (almost anything in my castle will reset to the actual amount of statues you have). In order to make them stick, you need to change the "permanent caps" to the amount you want (you will still need to change the statue caps tho). permanent ones are the reason things like like einhenjar exploit exist, because it saves the top caps through save files.

Chapter0 is top left save
Chapter1 is middle left save
Chapter2 is bottom left save
The other chapters are handled differently on the sd card and so far have not been tampered with (or not that i know) so 0,1 and 2 are the maleable ones.

and DarkCrudus, kunoichiZ was pointing you towards the right direction to use this tool. Since you mentioned you had gateway, i do understand the need of pointing that out

i have a problem for my part because what happens is that when I import the save after I change what I want in my files , I go in the game and nothing PLZ help me (and for my savemanager i use homebrew launcher)

Can I ask something about the support log? I've maxed all my units support, but when I go to the log at the museum, it shows only how they were before I edited them. Is there any way to fix this?

The supports that appear on the museum are only the ones you have unlocked "manually". This means that by having the support in a legit way, you don't only get to see the convo, it also is marked as unlocked in the global file. Editing a save file to have all S and A supports gets them, but does not trigger them for the museum (you can export the global file tho).

From homebrew I assume you are using SVDT or JKSM. Remember you have to import the modified save file back to the game, just putting it into the memory card won't do it.

Also, the mega cheat for max Eternity seals doesn't set them to what they are set to when your level is set as high as you can set it.

Switching from a character with max level to one without max level, the experience input remains locked until you adjust their level.

When a character is set to their current level cap, unless it is the highest possible level in the game, experience is not reset to 0.

Completely, or you could also export the global file and unlock the supports for the museum through FEFTwiddler

Regarding the files, im not really sure. The way you put it should work (dont forget to import it back)
The mega cheat for max eternal seals is giving each unit 16 eternal seals, which allows for everyone to reach level 99 (the max number allowed by the game, you can still go higher, but the 99 won't change) if you want a unit to keep going, you will have to do so by giving them the seals manually or increase the number through unit viewer.
Well, changing the level of a unit is a change you do manually, you could as well change the exp to 0 in one sec. If soaprman decides to put a megacheat button of "max level" (apart from eternal seals) then it will be welcome, but personally i find it unnecessary
