Nope, definitely cia games. Could it be because I never unlinked my nands?

..Maybe? I don't fully understand how the NAND link works but that could be plausible. Perhaps @Quantumcat knows better. It's weird though because if that Nintendo 3DS folder has your save files then copypasting it over should work as is. If it doesn't then it would indicate the said files don't exist in there ..

Hindsight is 20/20 but should've backed up saves with JKSM prior to modding your console I guess to be safe if they were "important" .. Stuff like Pokemon saves etc. would be truly devastating to lose if you had spent a long time on them.

Ok it looks like the emunand and sysnand use different folders (IDs?) inside the Nintendo 3DS folder. After copying the titles folder from one folder to the other the games now show up on my 3DS.
Thanks for your help guys!

Can I turn my game cartridge and save into a digital game with any homebrew?
After you follow 3ds.guide/get-started you can do this with Decrypt9.

That makes no sense. After flashing your emuNAND to your sysNAND, it would use the same folder as it did before. In fact moving it like that should cause it to not work, because the folder you moved it into is now not being read by anything (the old sysNAND which you overwrote). Weird!

yes but if you create a emunand partition on your sd make sure to back it up prior to that since it will format the sd card and you would use all the data on it.

you flash your sysnand backup onto the emunand partition. for such a partition to exist, it must be created, this process formats your sd card. I'm realizing that the last time I did that I used multinand tool . I never used emunand9, better wait until someone who knows emunand9 replies!

If I haven't formatted so will I get the gift wrap bug of not unlinking nands?

I might have messed up a bit... I just upgraded from a 16GB card to a 128GB card.

I copied everything on the 16 GB to my PC. Formatted the 128GB card to FAT32, copied the files over to the 128GB from my PC and now my EmuNAND (Luma) doesn't run. It just restarts HBL.

I just read something about emuNANDs actually being part of a seperate partition on the SD. Which basically means that i have now lost my emuNAND (with saves and everything) forever?

Any clarity would be greatly appreciated.
And also suggestions/tips on what I need to do to fix or anything else I should do when upgrading SD cards.

You need to export the emunand from the previous sd card, then inject it into the new one. emuNAND Tool can do this on PC.

Which means that if I only _copied_ files from the old SD and then formated it to be used for something else, I'm screwed?

You're not getting into HBL at all right? Are you 100% sure you have all the right files? the ropbin is what gets most people - Either they have the wrong one, or it's not renamed or a combination of those two.
I'm going to reinstall all the files, do you mind walking me through it? this is my first time hacking and all of the youtube videos on soundhax and how to install it end up in the same thing. I just wanna play a randomizer nuzlock but I can't get homebrew to work.

Hello! I'm really interested in getting dev firmware on my emunand, but there is no tutorial on how to get it on N3DS. My 3ds region is USA, I have Luma 3ds. (I made a backup of my emunand and tried installing the dev firmware, but I get a CTRNand error when booting into emunand. I restored the backup.) Any help is appreciated.

If you did a full format, yes. If you just did a quick format the emunand should still be there
Yeah it's gone then. The old SD has been put to use with my PSP.

Could someone give me an easy guide or tips on what I should do now?
My N3DS is on 9.2.0-20E with Menuhax (loads HBL if I don't press anything on boot). And I used to have Luma EmuNAND before the above mentioned stuff.

What steps do I do to get my 3DS back up and running with CFW? Do I start from the start of the guide or can I skip to some steps out in the guide.

Thanks for your help thus far proflayton123 and HyperT :)
