Yes, but there are few issues like add life = lose life, lose life = add lifes or I dont get any medal for finish the level. But other cheats works very well.
there was a update released for the plugin? if so, is it in the description of the youtube video? i downloaded the plugin yesterday and none of the cheats were working, if there was a update to fix it i would like to try it out.

cheats are now working but there is a issue, i will try to describe it as best as i can.
add one life cheat - instead of adding a life it will reset your lives to 2, no matter if you have 5 lives or 75. it will always take you to 2 lives
lose one life - instead of removing a life it will max out your life's at 100, similar to the "max lives" cheat but your lives go down as it normally would.
star invincibility- there is no star animation or music playing as i saw on your video but it works perfectly fine, kills enemies as if i had the star.
tonoki mario- does not seem to change the appearance or ability of mario. as if the cheat was not enabled but i only tested this online since i had to look for a SMB3 level (not sure if there was a way for me to test offline, kind of new to the game)
everything else seems to be working just fine. if i find any other issues i will let you know, i was not able to test the "get all medals" since i was not able to find a level that had them (im assuming the medals are the red coins)

reset as in dying, correct? i went to a pit to die, because small mario still has the getting hit animation as if he had the power up, and i spawned again with no tanooki suit.
alright, just thought it was a bug and thought i should bring it up in case it was.
