Extract your games RomFS and replace with the one from OP, repack into cia. Or wait for someone else to do it and upload to either chaos or ISO site. How do I install this, can't be bothered to read the OP
Mario uses a model in the New Super Mario Bros. U Theme so, most likely not...This is pretty neat. Is only the overworld changed, or mario's "sprites" as well?

I find it odd but, just like the Wii U version of Super Mario Maker, mario and many of the enemies in the NSMBU theme use full models.I thought it was just compressed images from the WiiU version, giving the ilusion of a 3D model.
NSMBDS and NSMB23DS do use a 3D mario model, though.

I think if we swapped the models with even lower poly versions of Mario & the enemies in the game, it should look a lot better...
Well, it is possible to extract the tilesets from the wii u version, resize them to match the size of the 3ds version, then rebuild the 3ds version with the resized files.what. the. fuck.
That's beyond lazy coming from Nintendo. That explains some slowdowns in the NSMBWiiU theme on o3ds.
Try putting 3 bowsers and running past them, you'll see what i mean.
I guess in theory that should work better. I'd wish there was a way to "re-compile" the game for it to allow various copies of the same "theme" like replacing SMB and SMB3 for NSMBDS/NSMBWii and keeping NSMBWiiU.
Having another title ID and all should be like having more games at your disposal to create stuff. Even if they're just palette swaps.
It is possible, but I don't remember where the titleID is locatedIs there any way to chnge the tittle ID?

It looks less pixelated due to the fact that it's not compresses like the other one.I wonder how that would look...
Also, i remember @CeeDee talking about trying to change the TitleID but getting nowhere. The game either crashed or did not work.

Here's a side by side comparison:

On the left, Is the default 3ds tileset for the New Super Mario Bros U theme, and on the right the resized Wii U version. Both work perfectly fine on o3ds's with no lag caused by the higher quality tileset. As you can see, the 3ds version is a lot more compressed than the other one, and both work equally as well!
