The moment you use any external device, unofficial software, pokemon and items created through any external means you are cheating.

I would gladly play a competitive pokemon game that was locked down from cheating and you could not bring pokemon into it again but competitive in it's current form is a joke.

Like I said if it was not possible and you could not trade pokemon in the difference is the effort put in.

"I would gladly play a Pokémon game where everyone has to play the game my way."
If you mean the correct and official way it was intended to be played then yes.

I see no reason why they wouldn't be. At the end of the day, you're just making save backups. People have been doing equivalent things since the days of Pokémon Stadium, and I don't think the use of homebrew/Powersaves makes a significant difference other than in convenience. The only issue I see is the injecting Pokémon X save into Pokémon Y, as you could end up with having X exclusives listed as being caught in Y (or vice-versa).

i was worried about that, i'll just start a new game then on the other version to be safe, i dont want to waste time then end up with pokemons not going thru pokebank or being unable to trade/battle online..ive been using PHBank but as soon as the official PokeBank gets updated next year il be using that to transfer poke's to Sun/Moon..

I'm sure that they'll be able to be transferred through PokéBank and be used online, they just possibly won't be completely legal if someone decides to look at their data for their game of origin.

Cheating in Pokemon would be like using some kind of AI software to predict STAB/status moves etc and "smartly" circumvent them. Regardless of where you got the pokemon doesn't matter one bit in the competitive scene. It's like a fighting game with different variations of the same character. Sure, you can alter their moves a bit but you can't change their pre-determined weaknesses/strengths(typing?) You can't change their phsycial stats beyond the norm either, so it's like investing skill points to either strengthen your weaknesses or reinforce your strengths. Pokemon is the same exact thing. This is like saying using Create-A-Character with set parameters to be used online is cheating because someone else has access to the costumes you haven't unlocked yet. Please.

@The Real Jdbye, I thought about that and I have blank DVD's and Blurays but honestly after like 90 songs I just listen to it a couple of hundred times toss it out and burn something else or have like 2-3 CD's. Florida here the heat in the car tends to ruin the CD's after like a few months even commercial pressed ones don't last too long.
