If you need people to confirm you what's been said, then it's because you did not read enought, as I said before. Much people as me know what we know because we wated, read, and ask in the post and in the moment that should be asked.
In other hand, you are literally asking for a way to pirate games and to pay anything for them. Dude, buy them or buy a flashcard.

Seeing this post reminded me of my DS that I haven't used in ages ... I have Supercard DSTWO in it. Would I be able to use that on my 3DS, and if so, how?

I'm not really sure, but it maybe since it worked on DSi. If you put it and doesn't work, it could work downgrading the whitelist (it's what I have, and it's the best in most cases). If not, you can try the slot1 loader from apache thunder, but I'm not really sure if that could work. Maybe you'll need to use ysmenu or wood R4.

In theory, if you already have the newest version of the Luma CFW on your 3DS, then you should be able to just put it in and load it just like any game cart. If you don't have Luma, it might be blocked by the firmware, in which case you would need to patch the whitelist.

That guide is very clear to me, just installing 2 .cias, then copying over 1 folder and the .nds files you want to load.
