Yes, i'm agree with it, but the only thing i'm agree with Piracy is the unauthorized digital redistribution of copyrighted content. Piracy also involves fraudulent services, lame copycats and low-quality stuff which i'm not agree with.
And i like piracy but not because i'm poor or i'm against copyright law, but because is more easy and free. All of my PS3 games are legally bought, and i also bought original games when i first got the GBA, DS, 3DS, PS2...

I'm not quite sure i get what you mean as your primary reason to pirate...

I don't like piracy in the least tbh.

But I'm a dirty hypocrite and I live in a country where I simply can't afford games, so what the fuck, sign me up, Captain.

I'm from the same country as you are, yet have a slightly different view on the matter.
I've bought a few retail cartridges/titles, but so far 2 psp games and 2 3ds games (RE:Rev, KH3D).
Thing is, the problem reduces basically to nintendo not bringing their games over here officially, so all you're left is with the private resellers that charge you like 200% profit for a single title just because of importing fees+their actual profit+ low availability of said games in question.

So... I understand that if a game is worth 40$ you sell it for like 45$ or something. But people's gone as far as charging the equivalent to 60$ or more and they're not going to tell me it all went to the importing fees and aren't getting profit from it. No one is that stupid. (if you bring like 50 copies of OR/AS you're not going to be spending so much like to charge about 10$ more just for the sake of importing)

That, and there is also the handful of people selling digital titles for a ridiculously low price (like the equivalent to 5$) which are obviously fake credit cards and eshop scams that only end up getting the console banned.
Not to mention that these resellers only bring AAA (if they can be called like that) stuff like Pokemon, mario games and the ocasional rpg game. not a way they cover the full range of games. (a link between worlds was incredibly difficult to find here)

It used to happen a lot before 9.2 CFW went live, it still happens, just less now that there are free options avaliable (Menuhax, a9lh, etc)

So, if people wouldn't be that unfair at the time to bring the games here like to shell out more than a months earning for just ONE game (whereas to native US/EUR people it only costs a fragment of their income), I personally wouldn't have a problem with going legit, or having a mixture of both piracy and legit stuff.

I mean piracy because is free. I don't follow those archetypes that i pirate just because i don't have money.

You see that's a common misconception people tend to have, games are supposed to be a luxury just like a cellphone or a PC are.. It's not a first need thing. What i don't accept is that things here are so expensive (part bad economy, part people speculating) they take several months, if not years of income only to find out that due to inflationary rates what you wanted to buy is now x3 times more expensive. Which kind of becomes a never ending cycle unless you become a bank robber or someone working for politics, which is kinda redundant all together...

Heck, ps4 is unhackable as of now (publicly) yet i still want to buy KH2.8HDFCP (gosh, that's a huge ass title), and when it finally comes in 2025, KH3. Legit. But to do so i have to sell a kidney or something like that, and I'm not joking or exaggerating at that part.

EDIT: I wanted to edit the post and somehow this happened, what the hell.

For myself to be honest no; but if others for some reason it can be they use it, I don"t have problems with that but for me I personally don"t use it.

Oh goody. Explain this one?

A "turing machine" is (oversimplifying) a concept of a computer that can possibly run any imaginable software.

Real world computers (and phones and consoles and...) are approximations of a turing machine because they can't possibly have unlimited memory like that design model.

Therefore it's correct to say you can run any software you can imagine on your 3DS as long as it fits in its technical specifications, right?

A piece of 3DS warez definitely fits into its technical specifications. It is normally blocked by artificial restrictions. And I oppose such artificial restrictions as they arbitrarily prevent you from using your hardware at 100% of its capabilities!

One of the more intricate explanations of why people pirate.

if your able to play pirated games on your 3ds your 3ds is also region free

Good point there, but I guess I am a hypocrite if I didn't bother getting a Japanese copy of MHgen in that regard. But based on how less frequently, if at all I pirate on pc because of how easy it is to acquire games on that platform, you'd think I would go along the norm of not but I don't. Then again I do get steam digital keys on third party sites on major releases like when Dark souls III came out which also is a grey line to pass because there were cases of people selling stolen keys.
