It seem like a few google translation gotten past the review process, including the one I linked in my last post:
https://www.transifex.com/god-eater...viewstrings/#en/3581_event_demo_text/45552779

I wonder how much of the supposedly good translation are actually bad google translate.

I tried emailing devnoname120 about it (hopefully it was the correct email) but haven't gotten a reply,
I can't send a pm cause I haven't posted enough message to get the PM privilege yet.

I just pray that they will finish project before namco kills it:P
why would namco want to kill it, people translate it for free, namco can take the iso, port it to the vita/psp games, and make some money of it.
since its fan-translated i dont think namco kills the project since they do not hack nor take any characters from it. (like all 3rd party games)

Well, Gods Eater 2 already got translated. And I'm guessing too, that Namco is gonna rage against that translation - cuz of the GE2 western release.~

Ace Combat 3: Electrosphere translation has been going on since like 2010. Although that's an older game that hasn't been in the market for a while. In the end, I just think it's whatever the legal consultant does to validate his paycheck at any given time.

The people on the internet thought that they could help translating this game with machine translate without the need of japanese knowledge.
In reality what they do was just hurt this project more. The devs were forced to rollback all those machine translated text and delays the entire completion.
The internet is full of ignorant people it seems.

It's really sad. And even more sad if a good translated one also being deleted with google translated one.

I know the initial release of the patch intends for the game to be fully translated but is there a reason to not consider just releasing what progress there is now and iron out the issues presented by others in future patches? Seeing as how this issue of people (probably trolls) using a machine translation keeps recurring and pushes progress back by several days, I don't think there would be any harm in it aside from a few hotheads coming in to complain, plus people here won't have to be forced to wait longer for the full product.
