Posted a thread alone on this, but this seems like an appropriate place to ask.
I'm having trouble identifying BFSTM files for each course, they aren't exactly named intuitively all the time.
Anywhere I can find a source identifying which is which?
I get the N, F thing but it seems the BFSTM are occasionally named something unrelated to the course name.

If I remember rightly, yes, it's a legit thing.

However, if you look on the Wii U hacking and homebrew page on here, you'll notice it had its own thread which is now deleted due to it being a bad cheating mechanism! :teach:

I have a few questions.

1. How do a make a properly working bfstm file on Dolphin Shoals? I have tried it but the music cuts out in certain areas. I have tried creating a multi-channel for it as a brstm and then converting it to a bfstm but it is doesn't fully play still. If anyone would rather just send me a working bfstm file for Dolphin Shoals, that'd be great, I want to use the Dolphin Shoals (Highlight Reel) to replace it.

2. How can I change laps, mainly for N64 Rainbow Road? I want to make it just 2 laps around the entire track.

It's a "multi-channel" BFSTM (kinda dumb name since every BFSTM is at least 2-channel); it has more than 2 stereo channels (which are normal / frontrunning); you just add more channels to your WAV file or whatever you work on. Not sure which tool correctly encodes that back to BFSTM.

Laps are in my Course tutorial. 2 laps wont work for CPU anyway on N64RR without further mods

One question: I see for example a White tanooki mod, and its White but when i change mario to fire mario y see White and the original red. How to do the mods "well"?

It's ripped since long. If you want to be a dumbass cheater, you had the tools beforehand.
Every TT record is hacked.

They seek the attention they desire to get more followers on miiverse. Smh kids these days. As long as gecko codes aren't released to the public, it won't be an issue. They're lucky the ban hammer isn't there just like Splatoon.

It's a shame indeed. Nintendo gives a crap. There are some gecko codes but touchy ones have been kept private for so long.

Well, then I can also release CC modifier and how to edit the corresponding file, right? Who gives a shit anyway? Me slowly less and less.

Sadly those codes are different for each course. Also annoying to use. A spoiled brat wouldn't be able to control the speed for every course. They might as well stop and modify their VR or BR to something lower than 2000 if they are desperate to win with infinite mushroom. It would be fun if everyone was running the same code. Maybe a 1v1 race, who gets the mushroom first.

Edit: i don't know why but I just snap. Fuck online and the kids who use hacks. I'm making such a big deal over something I have no control of. I've only met 1 cheater who 1 lapped every course in a 30k - 99k lobby. The sweaty try hards and he shows up in 8k. It didn't matter. Haven't met another person since then and probably will be more thanks to the cheat pack released .
