I was asking to see if anyone could help me decide, to start, the only real reason I wanted one was cause Xenoblade Chronicles 3d Works on it. When nintendo announced the update for wii u before with the Wii mode gamepad compatibility, i was excited to hear about it, until i found out it only displays the game on screen, and every time i use the homebrew in wii mode, i can just look at the screen but still need to use wii motes and such, just touching the screen to see "wii u game pad cannot be used in this mode" i only wish i could play Xenoblade chronicles using the gamepad as well as other emulators and homebrew.

I still want one, but not having it for so long due to finacial reasons (Can't find console discounted enough) I'm not sure, The better 3d screen, the enhanced controls with clearly mimic the circle pad pro or wii u game pad, and better performance all sound okay, the micro sd card exception along with having to unlock the thing covering it as opposed to the open door of the previous models were kinda bad. But i guess just having a bigger sd card with homebrew for ftp file transfer could be bit okay for that, and i'll finally have Xenoblade 3d anywhere (even bathroom time) instead of just tv limit.

To be honest the only reason is to save me some money, im not rich so i would need to think carefully. If i could play xenoblade chronicles on the wii u game pad with contoller inputs out of just viewing it and using classic controller, i probably would wait for another reason to get the New 3DS like a new game. But is also long term for future releases, i dont notice many New 3ds exclusive games compared to the existing ones. So any guidnce would be nice.
I myself am saving money for a N3ds. It has snes vc and you could use Ntr streaming to view your 3ds on your pc.

If I"m not wrong that are custom injected SNES VC games. Also unless you want to play exclsuive games (Xenoblade Chronicles 3D, The Binding of Isaac or SNES VC games), use New Internet Browser or install CFW for have a cheaper way to capture 3DS games than a capture card, I don"t think is worth to buy a New 3DS if you already have another Original 3DS Model unless the console are starting to fail; there"s also Super Stable 3D, C-Stick and NFC built-in reader, but I don"t think Super Stable 3D is worth to buy another model for a little best 3D and you have NFC Reader for Original 3DS Models if you ever want to use Amiibos, meanwhile C-Stick is here in "New" 3DS but there isn"t any game that use it in no optional way, also some people don"t like it and you can use Circle Pad Pro with most compatible games in Original 3DS Moodels.

Are those two games the only new 3ds exclusive games? ever since the system release last year, they don't seem to prioritize the games for it besides the extra functions which can also be used by circle pad pro.

Yes, only Xenoblade Chronicles 3D, the Binding of Isaac, SNES VC and (if you can consider it like that) New Internet Browser are New 3DS Exclusives; some games are compatible with the C-Stick but no with the Circle Pad Pro (for example Super Smash Bros. for 3DS) but there are very few games.

Well smash bros loads way faster as it was designed specifically for n3ds. There's also patches to increase clockspeed of some games so they run faster as well. Not that load time is a problem on the device, but it's still interesting to see.

It might be better to save the money for NX.

Super Smash Bros. for 3DS wasn"t designed for "New" 3DS it was only optimized for it as out of reboot and limitations when using it in Original 3DS there isn"t differences in game (curiosly Super Smahs Brs. for 3DS for post screenshoots in Original 3DS models uses a semi-dedicated Miiverse app and is the only 3DS game to use one and is in a separated process, you also can see that semi-dedicated Miiverse app in Original 3DS models if you post an screenshoot in the game in the Activity Log as "Post To Miiverse"). The C-Stick itself in New 3DS works as a Hardware part itself so it is always usable if the game or process let it and also have a backward compatibility for Circle Pad Pro games; it difference to the Circle Pad Pro that works via IR and it requieres a CPU overhead of 5% because that, something that with the C-Stick isn"t a problem since it"s built-in the console and also the better CPU of the New 3DS.

I'm aware some games have been made to work with the improve system, but i wanna know about the games thare made only for the system that isn't xenoblade chronicles and the other one i dunno. (no download titles) Fact is that nintendo has made that system and very little games required the new system to actually play it. I was thinking long term for is future, that they just released a hardware upgrade with "stuff that should have been in the first release" and very little support for any real reason for people who already have it to throw attention to it.

I sound like i'm either answering my own question but i'm just gonna say, if i didn't have one i would just get the new one, I want the new one, everyone would obviously but i wanna spend money wisely, is nothing against anyone, im just not rich but would like to have things keeping me occupied.

Yeah. Support for the N3ds is that great, theres only 1 game and snes vc for it. Maybe they're going to make Pokemon Sun and Moon N3ds exlusive. That decision could either make them alot of money or lose money.

Well this is like the DSi (but with better CPU improvement), but there"s the difference that 3DS already have digital content unlike Original DS and DS Lite; Nintendo isn"t going to leave all the users of Original 3DS models that also are bigger than New 3DS users, and the better CPU speed and L2 Cache is something that they may can"t have much problem without using it for most of the games. Also Pokemon Sun and Moon was announced for all Nintendo 3DS Family models.
I think if you really don"t want to play the exclusive games in a New 3DS (after all, all of them were already released in other platforms) and want to save some money, you will be better with your actual console instead of buying a New 3DS.

xenoblade chronicles 3d was the main reason i gave attention to the 3ds along with its features. Finding a copy for wii cost over $200 for a game i knew shoukd cost $60, the 3ds copy is $40 and just recent release wii virtual console $20,

Only difference is one is 3d and portable, while other plays upscaled on wii u without paying outrageous price for a disc copy. With the exception of snes vc for 3ds which is also on wii u, Only that binding of issac game for new 3ds right? but wait, isn't that also on wii u for download?

Bare minimum is new 3ds = better optimize portable gaming with 3d

Wii u = Just about same thing with Big screen tv and hd support.
