you updated the firmware, that's problem. If you came to us sooner, you would've known that you can hack your 3ds and downgrade your system to 9.2 with the sky3ds. Now, you're on 11.0. Great work! (sarcasm)

You are not helping OP at all. Please don't reply if you can't help.

@OP: Does the sky3ds work at all? As in: does it show the first rom? Or doesn't it show at all? If you press the buttons out of the 3ds, how does it feel?

Yeah the cfw master race shitposting is totally fucking helpful. Try formatting your SD card with Panasonic Formatter. Make sure you back up all your files so you can restore them later.

I had the exact same problem. My laptop crashed as I was ejecting the SD. Through pure laziness I didn't format my card so I switched it on, closed my 3DS and left it for a couple minutes then it started working fine.

I had this problem but on a sky3ds (blue button) it was the microsd card (kingston), I bought another microsd (other brand) and now works well.

Hey! I had the same problem and was able to fix it without too much trouble.. made an account to reply to this. Hopefully it will help.
Try this:

1.Hook the cart back up to your PC ala USB.

2. Copy all your .sav files from the cart on your PC.

3. Delete your .sav file from the cart.

4. Stick the cartridge back into the 3ds and power it up. Let it load the cartridge so it Generates new .sav files.

5. Pull the cart and hook it back up to the PC.

6. Delete the new .sav files.

7. Copy back recently your backed up .sav files.

That should do it. I don't know why this works for me but it does. I hope it works for you.

Hey OP. I too had the exact same problem.

It's to do with the SD card. Sky3ds is very finicky about the SD card speed. I found the only sd card i can get to reliably work is SanDisk extreme. All the other ones i tried including other sandisk normal ones have the same trouble.

However if you want to keep your sd card you could try @The.dot's suggestion above which should optimise the file layout a bit to help it load faster. I found that copying each game one at a time and loading it on 3ds helped as well.

I initially had this problem with my Sky3ds+. Just try hitting the orange button multiple times before the new game pops up. Once you can get it to go to the next game, then you only need to use the button once. Also, try hitting the orange button in the other direction. Left means next alphabetically and right means previous alphabetically. Perhaps you're going the wrong direction.
