So it doesn't show up in any of my text editors for Linux. But running Notepad through Wine, it shows up as a blank space under it. Saving it through Notepad, removes the extra bits and makes the file work properly.
Linefeed is a new line (you probably already knew that?) See if you can move your cursor onto the next line by pressing down arrow.
Some editors always add a new line onto the end of a file when you save it, I should probably add support for that but I have no idea how to compare a string to a 0x0A in lua...
Yep, @daxtsu already told me off for forgetting about that >.>Wouldn't checking for '\n' or '\r\n' do the trick?
i updated using starupdater cia but it doesnt load my animation when it turns onhttps://astronautlevel2.github.io/Luma3DS/
--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------
NIGHTLIES ARE NOT FAST ENOUGH ANYMORE
Read the README, you need to create a /luma/update.cfg or it will overwrite your arm9loaderhax.bini updated using starupdater cia but it doesnt load my animation when it turns on
theres a lot of people that need help with the eshop updating thing and the animation too so please make one if you can so i can tell some friends about it tooRead the README, you need to create a /luma/update.cfg or it will overwrite your arm9loaderhax.bin
Maybe I should make a new thread for this, but I don't think it's important enough (just don't want to spam luma thread).

Then make a thread about both your nightlies/hourlies and your updater ? I think the link to the builds is just passed in every thread but it doesn't have its own so you could make a thread for these two "not important enough for a thread" thingsMaybe I should make a new thread for this, but I don't think it's important enough (just don't want to spam luma thread).
Alternatively, if a nice GUI is what you'd like, Geany on Linux is a fantastic Notepad++ alternative. I used it a lot on arch, Debian and Ubuntu back in the day.use vim, you have an option to see all the special chars.
No need to use CTR as Luma has the payload featureDoes this Cfw support plugins? Like all the CTR ones I keep seeing?
Fun Fact; When you have an EmuNand and view SD partitions via EmuNAND9, you see 'GW EmuNAND'(also i have formatted my sd card as rednand not emunand, i do not know if that affects it?)
So... This is like another language to me.No need to use CTR as Luma has the payload feature

Now that I have Luma3DS installed, what do I need to do to access eshop and play online in Pokemon?
Also make sure you are using the latest nightly or it won't let you connect to multiplayer. Now that I have Luma3DS installed, what do I need to do to access eshop and play online in Pokemon?
