I'm getting around 56 and 60 FPS with frameskip 1 in N3DSXL *hax 2.5 (latest nightly). I'm trying games like Golden Sun and Mario Kart. I think the sound is very good, but not perfect. This emulator is amazing. Good work guys! ^_^.

not the nightly ( i need to test) but the one w/ the latest vers of smealum's starter pack, i'm averaging 39~49FPS w/ Mother 1+2 (in Mother 1 havent checked Mother 2 since that hasnt been translated.)

Using the latest nightly, getting about 20fps on my 2DS, playing Megaman Battle Network 4. And bad sound.

Any fixes/workarounds??

Same as above 9.2. Mgba doesn't benefit from having a kernel hack atm. No dynarec afaik. Either way most games will run above 45fps, some being full speed pretty regularly(the fire emblem games come to mind. Only problem with them is the level up screen and a couple things on the main menu having significant fps drops).

I have finish to play Pokémon Firered. Always 55-59.83 (Fullspeed on GBA) without Frameskip on N3DS 10.1.0-27E with MenuHax 2.0 and newest updatet Payload and mGBA nightly 11.03

Any difference in performance for Cia vs 3dsx?
Really happy to see a cia available for this emulator, even on the nightly build. Also happiness for this emulator being updated!

Unfortunately that's the state of gba emulation on o3ds and 2ds without kernel access.

so if I understand you correctly... an exploitable firmware (such as 4.5) would have better gba emulation performance?

MGBA might be getting dynarec support on December 13 if there are no delays. That will probably make it full speed for most games on a N3DS.
Can't wait for this. Here's to something that should make mGBA work flawlessly. At least I hope that this is what it will do.

One question though as I do not know how it could work... What would happen if this used a GBA bios? Would that make it run really slow or would it help out any? Just curious as my understanding is that the bios is supposed to help speed up somehow...

There already have been delays based on the timeline, which seems to be where you're taking that information from. The timeline scheduled an ETA for 0.3.2 in mid-November, and we're already in early December, so those dates shouldn't be taken as accurate.
