OK theres a whole bunch of clutter and you're getting nowhere @Jaylaur

How old are your kids?
What kind of 3DS do you have?
What kind of games do you want to play?
What firmware is the 3DS on?
Are these kids tech savvy even slightly?

8 & 11
O3DS
3DS & DS
Not specified, but should be below 9.2 - Actually need an OP reply for this.

Thank you everyone for your response.

As for games, Mario anything, Kirby, Lego anything, Donkey Kong, Zelda, Pokémon.. etc...

I've downloaded some Roms in hopes of having a card. I thought I read supercard two can play DS and 3DS? It doesn't matter if the 3DS cant play the DS games as well as 3DS, they can resort back to their DSI if they want to play those. Just figured it would be nice to be able to put both 3DS and DS games on one card for them.

My kids are pretty good with electronics when shown how to do something, they learn pretty quickly.

What I want; to be able to download 3DS ROMS and be able to play them on the 3DS. 3DS machines were purchased refurbished from EB Games within the last month. I will get back to you with version etc. later this evening when I have a chance to look at settings, hopefully with that info, I can be led in the proper direction of which way to go.

Thanks again
L

everyone understands what you want to do. We get it, you've mentioned 3 or 4 times. Three pages in, what the hell version sysnand are you on? If you can't bother to search, then read, then listen to other users, they can't be bothered to help you.

That was a response to Xenons question, hence the repeating of what he's already said.

If you read what he posted, you'd see that he said:

He sounds like another zero-poster who just wants to be spoon fed to me...

That's how it is for the vast majority of people on gbatemp, rather than looking for everything themselves, they'd rather just make a new thread and get the answer from people with the experience required.

But if you're going to accuse someone of not reading what people post, you should probably make sure to read everything yourself. :)

dont expect people to read static. questions dont need to be repeated. every post after I asked him what system version he has is a bunch bickering. let the guy have dinner with his kids. I am sure he can make a choice for himself anyway. is telling him to spend $90 on sky 3ds what you would have wanted to hear when you were a noob? no. people like free stuff.

He is a she btw and not interested in being "spoon fed" but given knowledge as I dont have much. I cant post or help people in future if I dont know what Im talking about re "zero poster". Im very appreciative of the information being given to me, so thank you to those who have been patient with me. To those who are rude and accusing, dont bother responding, im not looking for negativity or bullying.

Moving on, finally had a chance to look and it said ver 9.5.0-22U

Like others have said, Sky3ds is only option for 3DS games.

For DS (and emulators) games if you want the best, then DStwo. If you just want a NDS cart, then you can go with just about any of the R4s or their knock-offs; as long as they state they are supported on your firmware & higher.

Based on waht you want and your firmware, go with Sky3ds, its easy to setup if u dont want to go online, and its not difficult at all to setup properly if u want to go online too, just more steps to do

I just want a card to load the roms on, 3ds and older ds versions of games so my kids can play them. I'd prefer to download the roms not pay for games :)

YOu just answered your own question. So I ask you what card on the market now does what you just asked?
