You may have to try wiping your existing save data (start up OoT3D while pressing ABXY all at once) and try again. (Keep your backups!) It seems like you're running out of space on the save partition (it is a large payload). The hack won't work without the payload, so Edit 1 is normal.

It was the solution actually I had to delete all my save to make it possible.
Thanks it work fine ! :D

So, as I understand it, it doesn't work with Sky3DS (due to the different sizes of the saves). I tried it with Super Smash Bros. and Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, but I get a glitched screen, which doesn't allow me to do anything. Whatever I do, I'm forced to turn off the console, as it doesn't return at the Homebrew Launcher if I press X. With digital games (including Shuffle and Rumble World, fortunately) and original retail games, it works perfectly. I use a O3DS 9.9 with last boot.3dsx and last Ironhax installer.

It worked with my Sky3ds to dump a Tomodachi Life save from the Sky3ds to my sd on my 9.9 n3dsxl with Ironhax, I then transfered the save file to the sd in my o3ds (9.9 emunand) and restored the save to a CIA install of Tomodachi Life on that console.

I have a question.
On this thread LINK I asked about my save file in Tomodachi Life and the problems I have with it. I was just wondering. Maybe dumping and importing a clean/edited new save file to the cartridge will help somehow? Is there anybody that can maybe send me a save backup to try? A clean and legit one would be nice to try if its possible to flash a dump from a different cartridge in to another

Try the one below - originally created on an EU rom on my Sky3ds, dumped via this save tool, and restored into a legit CIA EU version of the game. It's a 'clean' save, as in it's not been edited, and it's fairly new (only 10 islanders). Hope it works for you.

Has anyone tested an Animal Crossing New Leaf cart? Does it have the same save protection as the digital version? If not, would I technically be able to have two different save backups and switch between them?

Alright. This is another problem/question post, but bare with me. (please? :) )

I'm trying to get my edited Smash save in the 3DS, but I don't know why it's not trying to restore back in the console.

I followed everything correctly:
  1. Open SDM and select Smash Bros.
  2. Just shows a glitchy screen, which is kind of expected in my case. I press A to dump save data. Wait a few seconds until it's safe to exit by pressing X (which, btw, goes into a more glitchy screen and crashes. i have to hold the power button to restart it).
  3. Put dumped save data into PC (FTBrony)
  4. I edit my save file in Smash editor, adding in all custom moves, clothes, and headgear. Save the data in the file.
  5. Place edited files back in the "savedataBackup" folder.
  6. Load up SDM once more, and select Smash to get glitchy, no-menu screen.
  7. This is where I think things go wrong. I press B to inject edited save data, but it ends up giving me the "more-glitchy" screen (the same one that shows when I try exiting the homebrew). I wait around 30 seconds, restart, boot up Smash, and...nothing. The data is exactly the same before any editing.
I'd greatly appreciate it if someone can help me out here. I'm using Ironhax on an Old 3DSXL with a digital copy of Smash US.

Thanks in advance! :)

Check that you don't have any other dump from any other game in the saveDataBackup folder. Even with different name, it could interfere with importing.
