If only there was a way to fix the Gamecube port of Crash Bandicoot, it was rushed and suffered framerate-wise. There are rumors that Devolution supposedly fixed the framerate, running at 60 fps instead of sporadically; that very reason is what caused so many reviews for it to be sub par.
So all we need now is someone that has the original disc and a recording method so we can see if it is truei like how there is rumors that devo fixed it lol where is the proof? i never saw any video or anyone actualy confirming the game had a better framerate in devo than in nintendont at all. Compatibility list was made by alot of people so the extra options are full of errors specialy.
So, you are saying that your own eyes aren't enough to tell us that it's fixed or not?So all we need now is someone that has the original disc and a recording method so we can see if it is true
I got the disc so i would be able to compare, but no recording method... now if only i got the money to buy something like avermedia live gamer extreme..
Pedro wants proof in the form of a video... but well, i guess my eyes should provide some good results...but i am not that young anymore..So, you are saying that your own eyes aren't enough to tell us that it's fixed or not?

no one is doubting that its a bad port, the doubt part is if devo acutaly fixes the framerate or not vs nintendont lol, i highly doubt it tbh, some gc games already run better than they did on the GC due to processing power of the wii i seriously doubt tueidj wrote a special code for that game to run at 60 fps since you cant just generelize a code for 60 fps.I can attest to it, PS2 and Xbox versions run 60 fps all the time, if you read the reviews, you can all see them state that the Gamecube port was rushed and piss poor, I wish people weren't so skeptical about it :/
I guess people think that I'm a liar then. My only other resort is to use Dolphin and PCSX2, which run the ports perfectly, at least, the PS2 version runs 60 fps, Gamecube has a counter, I can capture that, but I know 100% the game is badly ported on GCN. Skepticism be damned.
Either all the reviews about the Gamecube port are all happen to be lying about the framerate issue, or the PS2 version is deceitful.
Thinking about it, I almost bought the game lol. I would have tested it in no time I wasn't removing the game from my purchasse list and get Starfox Adventure insteadno one is doubting that its a bad port, the doubt part is if devo acutaly fixes the framerate or not vs nintendont lol, i highly doubt it tbh, some gc games already run better than they did on the GC due to processing power of the wii i seriously doubt tueidj wrote a special code for that game to run at 60 fps since you cant just generelize a code for 60 fps.
That would be ideal if someone could compare, sadly my genuine copy of the game is for the Xbox and I downloaded the GC version. So all we need now is someone that has the original disc and a recording method so we can see if it is true

Nobody's arguing about the PS2 and Xbox versions, I have played all thre versions before "played the PS2 version at a friend's house when it first came out, then bought it on Xbox since I didn't have a PS2, and then I downloaded the Gamecube version years later to use with Dios Mios" I can confirm both PS2 and Xbox versions run at 60fps "PS2 version is still better but Xbox version is also good" hell even the loading screen was lazy in the GC port, but I remember people stating that Devo fixed the game speed though I can't confirm it due to not having the GC version on a disc format, that's why.I can attest to it, PS2 and Xbox versions run 60 fps all the time, if you read the reviews, you can all see them state that the Gamecube port was rushed and piss poor, I wish people weren't so skeptical about it :/

That would be nice to implement, but man you need to restso for fun I started looking into hiding the timer in virtua striker 4 and I found out the numbers are in fact a texture by looking through the game textures:
its really interesting to see how games solve different problems, gives you a quite good overview of things.
if you cant see it check out my sick paint skills in moving things around and cropping them:
first noOk, first question: Is it possible to load gamecube homebrew through Nintendont?
Second question: what is the difference between gamecube homebrew and wii homebrew (I can't find anything outlining the differences, are there even any)?
And one conditional question: If there is no real difference in gamecube and wii homebrew and nintendont can run homebrew, can I use it to enable the gamecube controller adapter and other HID devices for other homebrew?
It might be a really roundabout solution, but well worth it if it let's me use my N64, SNES, and NES usb controllers in their respective console emulators
Even though it wasn't what I had hoped, thanks for the responsegc homebrew wont work on nintendont at all.
nintendont patches games by using patterns, homebrew has no pattern therefore nintendont cant patch them to work, becuase homebrew apps are all over the place codewise.Even though it wasn't what I had hoped, thanks for the response
Has this been fixed? Not super important but I felt like nobody gave a damn about this except one or two users lol (one of them experienced the problem as well)3.349, Prince of Persia the sands of time NTSC/U, component cable, the game freezes when entering display setting. It doesnt actually freeze; it doesnt respond to controller inputs anymore. Game plays fine though. Iso is fine too (checked md5, and is a full 1:1 iso).
i tryed this and i couldnt find the setting that frooze, i tryed ntsc pop sands of time on my wiiu with hdmi and the only option there was turn on or off the tutorials or subtitles or whatever and it didnt frooze for me but i never saw the progressive on or off setting on my wiiu at all since i just choosing progressive yes on the start up or no didnt gave me the option.Has this been fixed? i seriously dont get why people think its fine to force a pal game ntsc or an ntsc game to pal, you shouldnt just do it at all if you want to play in ntsc mode just get an ntsc iso if you want pal mode just get a pal iso its simple, why do people like reporting X game doesnt work with a totaly forced videomode lol, that isnt even news that is to be expected, be glad it worked at all.I have a problem with Paper Mario TTYD PAL (Forced to NTSC). the game worked fine until i reached the chapter 6.
In the Excess Express at the night of day one (in game), the game freezes completely, every time I go through the middle of the dinning room.
I had to force shutdown my Wii.
Before on the day (in game) the game works fine. the bug only occurs at night.
I'm using latest release v3.366 and tried two different isos, real and emulated MC.
I played the game on Dolphin with the nintendont save and i can go thorugh the room at night without problem.
Hello, can you share your save? Then someone could easily test and see if that happens to themI have a problem with Paper Mario TTYD PAL (Forced to NTSC). the game worked fine until i reached the chapter 6.
