New 1TB PS4 Console leaked
The new models will be numbered: CUH-1215A and CUH-1215B and there will be no difference in the form factor compared to the current PS4 model.

is it not cheaper to buy the smallest version and buy the larger hd yourself and put it in?

It depends, in Brazil if you wanted a 500gb super slim PS3, it was cheaper to buy the 500gb model - also while the 12gb was leaked through Anatel, a Brazilian homologation entity like the FCC, it was rare to find here.is it not cheaper to buy the smallest version and buy the larger hd yourself and put it in?

And other thing, to put a HDD on the 12gb model you need to buy the PS3 super slim HDD tray, it wasn't being sold here, who wanted it had to import.

Got a 2 terabyte hd that should last me the rest of this generation.
Tad late, but finally, Sony made a move to include a 1TB.

It's pretty nice for all the later adopters that are going to need more space for all the games and such, but thankfully Sony made it fool proof to throw in your own HDD to upgrade so meh. If I wanted 1TB I'd just chuck a 1TB HDD in my current model
